The Infected mutation has been reported as a reward from Grow a Garden’s Zombie Invasion admin event: players watched for Jandel to appear while zombies invaded their farm and had crops exposed during the event. This is a historical, community-reported method—not a currently confirmed guarantee—so check the live game before relying on its availability.
How the reported Infected method works
A video guide published July 13, 2025, describes the trigger as the Zombie Invasion admin event, when Jandel appears and zombies invade the farm. A separate mutation reference also connects Infected to a Zombie admin mutation. Together, these sources support the event association, but they do not establish a guaranteed way to obtain the mutation or confirm that the event is currently active.
- Watch the live game for a Zombie Invasion admin event and Jandel’s appearance.
- If the event occurs, have crops exposed during the invasion, as described in the historical guide.
- Check your crops afterward for the Infected mutation. The available descriptions do not specify which crops qualify or the chance of a mutation.
The sources do not establish an event schedule, exact timing, probability, or any alternate method. Do not treat the event as something you can trigger on demand.
Is the event still available?
Current availability is unconfirmed. The cited accounts are secondary sources, and an official Roblox source confirming that the Zombie Invasion event still awards Infected was not located. Check current in-game announcements or update information before spending time trying to obtain it; the general Grow a Garden mutations reference does not establish the current Infected method.

This is a reported value, not an officially confirmed or freshly verified current statistic, so check the live game for the value that applies to your crops.
