Start at Harmonious Hall: speak to Budge, the blue bird near the town-square steps, and choose “Hire me!” if that option appears. For other work, check the Jobs menu on your in-game phone or visit a business and ask its staff. The phone is the clearest way to find currently highlighted Trending Jobs, with their locations and how many players are working them.
How to find and start a job
- Go to Harmonious Hall. It is the town-square hub in Brick Bay. Find Budge, a blue bird character who hangs around the steps.
- Talk to Budge. If a calendar icon appears next to “Talk to Budge,” select “Hire me!” Follow any on-screen reminder; Budge may later text you when a task is available. LEGO’s Brick Life jobs guide explains the starting interaction.
- Open the Jobs menu on your in-game phone. LEGO says this menu lists Trending Jobs, where to find them, and how many players are working each one. Trending Jobs are listed as available daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Brick Bay time.
- Or visit a workplace and speak to someone there. Epic’s beginner’s guide says you can work as long as you want and move on when you are done.
Documented jobs and where to find them
The locations below are examples confirmed in official LEGO and Epic guides or updates, not a guaranteed complete roster for the current game build. Where those sources do not give precise map directions, use the in-game map or Jobs menu rather than relying on a guessed landmark.
| Workplace or starting point | How to find it | Documented work |
|---|---|---|
| Harmonious Hall / Budge | Find the town-square hub and look by the steps for Budge, a blue bird. | Starting job and later errands; Budge may text you when a task is available. LEGO jobs guide |
| Watch-o-Plex | About a block northeast of Harmonious Hall; look for giant Cuddle Team Leader posters. | Talk to Kernel Poppy at the lobby counter to become a Theater Attendant. Tasks include serving drinks and tending the cash register. LEGO jobs guide |
| Vaulted Value Propositions (bank) | Look for the large black-and-gold building with “Bank” above the entrance; explore its rooms and floors. | Marigold offers work. LEGO also suggests the bank as a place to look for an ATM for the daily Creds Drop. LEGO jobs guide |
| The Trot Lot | Southeast of downtown; LEGO describes its roof as yellow. | Speak to Roan about stable help and feeding chores. Epic later described Stable Hand progression and animal-care work there. LEGO jobs guide; Epic’s July 2025 update |
| Cozy Paws Café | Associated with Brick Bay’s beach area; the cited update does not give a precise current map position. | Epic’s July 2025 update describes Cat Café Barista work and animal care. Epic update |
| The Golden Cart | Named in Epic’s July 2025 update, which does not state a precise map landmark. | The update describes making Bao Buns and promotion rewards. Epic update |
| Bobom Milk Tea | Named in Epic’s launch article and later update; neither cited article establishes exact current map directions. | The launch article names Bobom Milk Tea Bobarista; the July 2025 update describes Tea Trainee progression and serving drinks. Epic launch announcement; Epic update |
| Mourndale Academy | Use the in-game map to locate the Academy district landmark. | Epic’s launch article names Academy Professor as a role. Epic launch announcement |
Other job titles named by Epic
Epic’s December 2024 launch announcement listed these roles as examples, not as a complete or permanently current catalogue:
- Courier
- Academy Professor
- Security Officer
- Scoundrel
- Sushi Chef
- Bobom Milk Tea Bobarista
- Fortune Teller
The same announcement says players can change jobs when they like and recommends watching the in-game phone for businesses calling for help. The July 2025 update added or described later opportunities at The Trot Lot, Cozy Paws Café, The Golden Cart, and Bobom Milk Tea. It also covered the limited-time Bestie Fest event near Harmonious Hall, which ran from July 29 to August 26, 2025 Eastern Time; that event is not a current job-finding option.

Choosing what to try
There is no official overall ranking of Brick Life jobs. Choose based on what is convenient and what kind of task sounds fun:
- For a first assignment: begin with Budge at Harmonious Hall.
- For a specific work style: the documented examples include delivery, retail or food service, teaching, security, pranks, fortune telling, and animal care.
- To avoid a wasted trip: check the phone’s Jobs menu for a Trending Job’s location and player activity. The cited LEGO guide gives the daily window as 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Brick Bay time.
- For Creds: jobs pay in-game Creds. LEGO also describes a daily Creds Drop collected from an ATM; the bank is one suggested place to find one.
Official sources do not provide comparable pay rates or task durations across the full set of roles, so there is no reliable basis to call one job the fastest or best-paying. The available examples and schedules can change with game updates; check the live Jobs menu and map for current availability.
