Choose Blue Prince first if you want one connected mystery to investigate through room choices, clues, and repeat visits to a shifting manor. Choose UFO 50 first if you would rather explore a varied library of 50 complete games, with some options for local multiplayer. That is a fit-based recommendation, not an objective ranking.
What kind of experience does each game offer?
Blue Prince: one mystery built around a changing manor
Blue Prince is a single-player, first-person puzzle adventure set in Mount Holly, a manor whose rooms shift. You choose what lies behind each door, plan a route, gather tools and clues, and search for the rumored Room 46. The floor plan resets each day, while some permanent upgrades carry forward. The design ties its puzzles to one continuing mystery. Nintendo’s Switch 2 listing describes the room-drafting and reset loop, and Xbox’s listing identifies it as single-player.

Blue Prince architect Tonda Ros described the approach as combining “elements of mystery, strategy and discovery” with “the drafting mechanics of a tabletop card game.” Ros’s PlayStation Blog interview offers a useful shorthand: exploration and puzzle-solving are linked to choices about how to lay out the house.
UFO 50: a library of distinct games
UFO 50 collects 50 single-player and multiplayer games presented as the catalogue of an imagined, obscure 1980s studio. Its genres include platformers, shoot-’em-ups, puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. These are described as full experiences rather than microgames, and the whole library is open from the start. Part of the appeal is browsing and finding which games suit you. The Steam listing documents the game count, genre range, and collection structure.
