The season’s promotional storyline centered on an outbreak connected to a DNA bomb at Popov Power in Urzikstan and the Critical Countdown event. That framing accompanied the broader seasonal announcement; it should not be mistaken for a multiplayer map or mode.
Which multiplayer maps were in Season 4?
Tokyo and Paris at launch
Tokyo and Paris were the two new core 6v6 maps announced for the Season 4 launch. Tokyo was described as a medium-sized map, with key positions around a hotel and a manga building. The official overview and patch notes identify both maps as launch content. MWIII Season 4 patch notes

Incline and Das Gross later in the season
Incline was announced for later in the season and arrived with Season 4 Reloaded. Das Gross, a Das Haus variant, was also part of the later-season map lineup. Reloaded added the pixel-art Bitvela variant as well. These are distinct additions and variants, rather than a claim that all were available from May 29.
What modes and playlists were announced?
The Season 4 announcements listed Demolition, Hyper Cranked, Cache, Mutation, Headshots Only, and Havoc among MWIII multiplayer modes and playlist offerings. Playlist schedules rotated, so inclusion in the season roadmap does not mean each mode was selectable throughout the season. Mutation and other playlist updates were also highlighted for Reloaded. Which weapons and gameplay additions arrived?
Season launch
The launch weapons were the Kar98k marksman rifle and Superi 46 SMG. The Season 4 overview also called out equipment and perk additions, including the Mission Control Vest and Compression Plate, along with four new killstreaks. The announcements establish their inclusion as season content; exact balance and unlock details belong to the patch notes.
Season 4 Reloaded
Reloaded began June 26, 2024, at 9 AM PT. It added the Reclaimer 18 shotgun, which supports pump-action and semi-automatic firing, and the Sledgehammer melee weapon. What else came with Season 4 Reloaded?
For MWIII, Reloaded included Incline, Das Gross, the Bitvela map variant, and the G3T_H1GH3R course. Its announced content also included seasonal events, weekly challenges, Aftermarket Parts, and the Helical Reverb animated weapon camo.

Blizzard Entertainment’s 2024 announcement said, “The Season 4 Battle Pass introduces over 100 rewards, including new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, base weapons, and more.” It also said Battle Pass progression could earn up to 1,400 COD Points, while BlackCell included additional exclusive rewards. Season 4 was a 2024 seasonal release. The official announcements cited here do not establish whether timed events, Battle Pass sectors, store bundles, or seasonal unlock paths remain available in October 2026. A season announcement also does not guarantee that expired rewards can still be claimed. If you are checking a specific item, consult the current in-game menus and current official notices rather than assuming its original route remains open.
Season 4 content was for MWIII and its connected Call of Duty experiences; owning the base game does not itself restore expired time-limited season rewards.
