The newest reviewed guide is Pocket Gamer’s October 2, 2026 update for version 1.5.3; it ranks operators by role and element because team fit matters as much as a broad tier label. Use tier lists as a guide to who may be worth building or pursuing—not as a rule that every lower-ranked operator is a poor choice.
How to read this Arknights: Endfield tier list
Operator rankings are third-party evaluations, not an official GRYPHLINE power ranking. They also reflect a particular date, version, activity and ranking method. Pocket Gamer’s October 2 guide identifies version 1.5.3 and says it groups operators by role and element; its accessible text does not expose a complete, readable placement list, so individual placements below are attributed to sources whose lists are readable rather than inferred from Pocket Gamer’s image-based table. The lists below use different tier scales and publication dates. Read each ranking within its own source: an SS in one guide is not a measured equivalent of an SS in another, and a damage dealer should not be judged as if they were a support. The official GRYPHLINE operator page is the reference for official operator information, not for community tier verdicts.
What the dated tier lists say
Endfield Hub: Version 1.5, September 26, 2026
Endfield Hub describes its Version 1.5 list as ranking 32 operators. It places Typhoeus, Liino and Arcane in its SS group and Purrchena in A. These are Endfield Hub’s community judgments as of September 26, not official placements or timeless rankings. See Endfield Hub’s tier list.

Pocket Tactics: September 4, 2026
Pocket Tactics’ published list places the following operators in each tier:

Pocket Tactics explicitly describes its rankings as provisional and team-dependent. Its guide is useful for seeing how that source grouped operators on September 4, but it predates the October 2 Pocket Gamer update and should not be treated as a version 1.5.3 placement list. Prydwen: September 24, 2026
Prydwen publishes both a general tier list and a separate team tier list. Its general rankings focus on Umbral Monument and other challenges that begin with zero Ultimate Energy. Prydwen says story and lower permanent-mode difficulties should be comfortably clearable with a correctly built and played team; that is a different benchmark from ranking performance in demanding zero-energy-start content. Why role, team and activity can change a ranking
Operators fill different squad jobs and can depend on particular elements or team archetypes. Pocket Gamer says operators cannot always be compared across roles and organizes its approach by role and element. Prydwen likewise notes that some operators are only usable in one element or team archetype. A tier position therefore answers a narrower question than “Is this character good?”: it reflects how that source values an operator in its stated context.

- Check the squad job: Compare an operator with others who fill a similar role, rather than assuming a support and damage dealer are interchangeable.
- Check synergy: Ask whether your existing operators support the element or team archetype the character needs.
- Check the activity: A ranking aimed at zero-Ultimate-Energy-start challenges may not describe performance in story or easier permanent content.
- Check the date and version: New operators and updates can change a guide’s context. Pocket Gamer’s October 2, 2026 guide names Typhoeus and Purrchena as its latest additions.
Who should you build or pull?
Start with the content you want to clear and the squad you can actually assemble. If an operator fills a missing role or strengthens a team archetype you already support, that may be more useful to your account than pursuing a higher placement that does not fit your roster. A tier list can help compare candidates within a role, but it cannot account for every player’s operators, investment or preferred activity.
Lower-tier placement does not mean an operator is unusable. Pocket Tactics cautions that lower-ranked characters can still fill important roles in specific teams. Treat its list, and other community rankings, as provisional evaluations rather than guarantees about what you must build or pull.

Official updates versus community rankings
GRYPHLINE’s update notice for the June 2026 “Sketches of Lost Heirlooms” update listed new six-star operators Mi Fu and Camille, as well as new six-star weapons. That notice establishes what the update announced; it does not endorse a tier position. Its headhunting windows were tied to dates and server times, so the notice is historical—not evidence that either operator is currently available on a banner.
