Does adaptive enemy AI mean there is PvP?
No. The PlayStation feature describes Hellwalker as a difficulty option with “more advanced and adaptive enemy intelligence.” That refers to computer-controlled opponents, not human players. The same feature lists Wayfarer, Pathbreaker, Hellwalker, and Sixty-Six Days as difficulty options; none is presented as a multiplayer mode.
S-GAME founder and CEO Soulframe Liang also writes, “If you’d simply like to enjoy the story, Wayfarer mode is for you.” This supports the story-focused solo framing, but it is not a promise that multiplayer can never be added.

The game is scheduled for October 29, 2026, according to S-GAME and PlayStation. PlayStation notes an October 28 release in the US and select regions.
