If you want a mobile action RPG built around Jinwoo, timed dodges, QTE attacks, hunter teams, and the Solo Leveling setting, start with Solo Leveling: Arise. If you care more about a different combat style or activity structure than the franchise, compare the specific games you are considering: the available evidence does not establish an overall winner against named competitors.
What kind of game is Solo Leveling: Arise?
Netmarble describes Solo Leveling: Arise as an action RPG adaptation of the Solo Leveling anime and webtoon. You play as Jinwoo, build combat styles with skills and weapons, team up with hunters from the story, and summon an Army of Shadows. Netmarble’s March 19, 2024 announcement introduced the game as a global release in development.
The current US Google Play listing emphasizes timed dodges called Extreme Evasion, QTE skills, swappable equipment and skills, hunter combinations, and recruiting shadow soldiers from defeated monsters. It also lists dungeons, raids, boss replays, and Time Attack. These are the publisher’s advertised features, not an independent assessment of how each mode plays. The US Google Play listing shows Android and Windows availability and an update date of September 15, 2026; platform availability can vary by region or change.
How to decide whether it suits you
Choose it for its action loop and Solo Leveling world
The clearest reason to try Solo Leveling: Arise is the combination of direct action features and a familiar setting: timed dodges, QTE attacks, skill and weapon choices, hunter teams, and shadow soldiers. Netmarble’s listing also advertises exclusive stories. If Jinwoo’s story and the franchise are a major part of the appeal, that tie-in may matter as much as the combat format.

- Material: Polyester for the keychain, and Metal for the ring.
Compare activity structure, not just genre labels
The listing centers on repeatable activities such as dungeons, raids, boss replays, and Time Attack. “Mobile action RPG” covers games with different ways of organizing play, so check the current official description of any alternative you have in mind and ask whether its activities are closer to what you want. The available sources do not support a feature-by-feature comparison with Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, Zenless Zone Zero, or Honkai: Star Rail.
Account for optional spending
The US Google Play and Apple App Store listings identify in-app purchases. Google Play labels purchases as including random items, and its US listing names a Hunters Association Premium Subscription at $9.99 per month with recurring charges unless canceled. The US Apple listing shows the same monthly subscription price. These are dated US-store details, not global pricing; check your own regional storefront and the subscription terms before buying.

What the available evidence cannot settle
There is no controlled, current comparison here of performance, accessibility, device requirements, progression demands, or value across Solo Leveling: Arise and competing games. That means it would be misleading to call it the better choice on any of those grounds without current, device- and game-specific evidence.
Store reviews provide anecdotes, not a reliable measure of how the game performs for players generally. US Apple reviews include dated reports from 2024 and 2025 criticizing the adaptation or describing mobile lag; Google Play reviews include mixed reports about crashes, loading, difficulty, and enjoyment. Those comments show that individual experiences differ, but they do not establish how common any issue is now.
