For this receiver pairing, the official manual instructs users to set the controller’s mode switch to D, turn it on with Start, and hold Pair for three seconds to enter pairing mode. 8BitDo’s product listing shows different configurations, including a “Mod Kit + Rumble Pack + TMR Joystick” option. Do not assume those accessories come with every version: check the selected variant and its listed contents before buying. Variant labels and stock status can change.
