Activision announced the game on June 8; its editions guide documented pre-orders by September 12, 2025. The game is now listed as “On Sale Now,” so this is a historical date check, not a current pre-order notice.
Did Black Ops 7 pre-orders go live on June 20?
That date is unverified. Activision’s June 8, 2025 announcement confirmed the game, but did not give a pre-order opening date. Its official editions and pre-order guide, dated September 12, 2025, says pre-orders were available by then and records updates on August 26, September 4, and September 12. It does not establish June 20 as the start date.

So June 8 is the announcement date, not evidence of a pre-order date. A June 2025 community question asking when pre-orders would go live is user discussion, not confirmation from Activision.

|---|---|---|
| Digital Vault Edition | Digital; platform availability is listed in Activision’s guide | Review the guide for edition-specific contents and benefits. |
| Console Cross-Gen Bundle | Digital on supported PlayStation and Xbox console generations; physical bundles are also listed for Xbox and PS4 | Check the exact platform and format before buying. |
| PC Standard Edition | Digital on Xbox on PC, Battle.net, and Steam | Activision says physical editions are not available for PC. |

The official guide documents a physical PS5 Standard Edition, but does not establish current stock, price, or retailer availability.
