The current preorder is for Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension, a physical bundle scheduled for October 29, 2026. Nintendo confirms one bonus with that physical bundle: a code for 100 Ultra Balls. That is a Nintendo-listed purchase bonus, not a verified retailer-exclusive gift.
What you can preorder now
The upcoming product is a new Switch 2 bundle, not a reopening of the original game’s 2025 preorder. The Pokémon Company announced that Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension is scheduled to release on October 29, 2026. The bundle contains the same content as purchasing the Switch 2 Edition and Mega Dimension separately, with both included on one game card. Read the announcement from The Pokémon Company.
The bundle is for Nintendo Switch 2. If you already own the Switch 2 Edition, The Pokémon Company says you need only the separately sold Mega Dimension DLC. Players must complete the main story before they can play Mega Dimension’s story.
Which preorder bonus is confirmed?
Nintendo’s US listing says the physical bundle includes an insert with a code for 100 Ultra Balls. The listing presents this as a physical-version purchase bonus; it does not identify it as an exclusive gift from a particular retailer. Nintendo also describes improved performance, resolution and frame rates for the Switch 2 Edition. Check Nintendo’s US product listing for current terms.

An Amazon listing has appeared in search coverage, but its current stock, price and bonus terms have not been verified here.

The historical retailer gifts were reported in TechRadar’s September 10, 2025 roundup. The Pokémon Center promotion was also announced by The Pokémon Company in 2025.
Do the old GameStop and Pokémon Center bonuses still apply?
No current offer for the October 2026 bundle is established by those older promotions. GameStop’s original-game listing referred to an early-purchase Ralts holding a Gardevoirite and a separate eShop-code offer with terms that expired in February or March 2026. Neither is a current incentive for the new bundle. The original game’s preorder period, including the historical Pokémon Center gift promotion, has passed. GameStop’s listing concerns the original Nintendo Switch game.
