Xbox’s product listing states: “Cloud playable with Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate. Game purchase required.” In practical terms, a subscriber on one of those tiers can stream a copy they have purchased; the listing does not say the subscription itself unlocks the game.

The listing identifies the Xbox Series X|S version as a purchasable game and says it is optimized for Xbox Series X|S. It also lists single-player, Xbox achievements, Xbox cloud saves, and Xbox Play Anywhere.
When did Cronos: The New Dawn launch on Xbox?
Cronos: The New Dawn launched globally on September 5, 2025. Bloober Team’s August 4, 2025 announcement named Xbox Series X|S among its launch platforms, alongside PC and PlayStation 5, and confirmed a Nintendo Switch 2 release. Bandai Namco Europe likewise said on launch day that the game was available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Xbox describes it as a single-player, third-person survival horror game. Its listing highlights scavenging, limited ammunition, and tactical combat. Defeated creatures can be absorbed by other enemies unless their bodies are burned, making how you handle a fight matter beyond the immediate encounter.
Does it have an easy mode on Xbox?
Bloober Team announced a difficulty option called Temporal Diver on February 13, 2026, saying it was live on select platforms and that other platforms would follow. The announcement does not confirm that the mode is available on Xbox, so Xbox players should not assume it is included there.

Is there a physical Xbox edition?
Bandai Namco Europe’s September 5, 2025 launch announcement names a physical Standard Edition for PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC at major retailers in EMEA and Australia. It does not name an Xbox physical edition or establish current retail stock. Xbox’s listing provides a digital purchase option.
