No PC version or PC release date for Ghost of Yōtei has been announced. Sucker Punch’s official FAQ says the game launched exclusively on PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025. That establishes its PS5 launch, not a permanent PS5-only future: a PC port remains unconfirmed.
What platforms can you play Ghost of Yōtei on?
Sony’s launch announcement lists Ghost of Yōtei for PS5, with Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions. It also describes PS5 features including DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers. The announcement does not list a PC version. Sony’s October 2, 2025 launch announcement covers the available editions and PS5 hardware.

Why do some players expect a PC release?
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut received its own PC announcement on March 6, 2024, ahead of its May 16 release. That is a precedent for the earlier game, not confirmation about Ghost of Yōtei: each title needs its own platform announcement. PlayStation’s announcement for the Director’s Cut concerns that game only.
Should you wait for PC or play on PS5?

What do the official announcements actually say?
Sucker Punch’s FAQ, updated September 29, 2025, answers the PC question by saying: “Ghost of Yōtei launches exclusively on PlayStation 5 on 2nd October 2025.” It does not announce a later PC release. Sony’s October 2, 2025 launch announcement confirms the PS5 release. Neither source establishes that a port is planned or that one will never happen.
