Which Steam Deck model was discounted?
The deal applied to the 256GB LCD Steam Deck, not the OLED model. Valve’s Autumn Sale announcement listed the 20% discount, and TechRadar later reported the same model discount in its coverage of the first-ever Steam Black Friday sale.
Valve lists the OLED Steam Deck separately on its product page. Anyone comparing the two should check the display, configuration and storage, then compare the live price and availability; a current price comparison is not established here.
When did the 20% discount end?
Valve’s announcement set the Autumn Sale offer’s end for October 6, 2025, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. That means the headline’s “rest of the month” timing was inaccurate: the October promotion did not run through October 31.

How did the Black Friday sale relate to the offer?
TechRadar reported that Valve’s first-ever Steam Black Friday sale ran through December 1, 2025 and included the 256GB LCD Steam Deck discount. Its reported 2025 sale prices were:
