If you want to delete a Roblox game you made, first separate three different actions: taking it off your profile, saving a backup, and permanently removing the experience from Roblox. Roblox documents how to remove a creation from your profile, but the official workflow reviewed here does not confirm a permanent deletion control. Roblox calls creator-made games “experiences.”
Remove a game from your Roblox profile
If your goal is to stop featuring an experience on your profile, Roblox Support documents a Remove from Profile option. This changes what appears on your Creations tab; it does not delete the hosted experience.
- Open the experience’s details page.
- Tap the gear or three-dot icon next to the title.
- Choose Remove from Profile.
Roblox’s instructions are at How to Show or Hide Your Inventory in Your Profile.
Back up your work before changing or removing anything
To save a copy locally in Roblox Studio, choose File > Save As. Roblox also documents File > Publish to Roblox As for uploading a copy to Roblox. These are backup and copying options, not deletion controls.

Can you permanently delete a Roblox experience?
The Roblox Creator Dashboard manages access to creations, and its documented settings include items such as game settings, version history, and copy permissions. However, the official Dashboard material reviewed here does not explain a permanent experience-deletion workflow. That does not prove no such control exists in the current interface; it means the reviewed official instructions do not establish its location or effects.

Check the live Creator Dashboard for controls on the experience, or contact Roblox Support to ask about permanent removal. Do not treat Remove from Profile as a substitute: it only removes the showcase listing.

What Roblox’s terms say about deleting content
Roblox’s Terms of Use state: “Creator retains the right to delete or update any or all content within an Experience at any time and at Creator’s discretion.” The same provision cautions that virtual content validly obtained by users may continue to be accessed and used, subject to Roblox’s terms and policies, unless that is no longer possible because the experience itself is deleted. The terms describe creator rights and potential consequences; they do not provide interface steps for invoking permanent deletion.

Do not confuse avatar-item archiving with deleting a game
Roblox’s asset-archiving documentation concerns eligible avatar items and their Marketplace visibility. It does not establish a way to delete an experience. In particular, any eligibility timing described for avatar assets should not be applied to games.
