Genshin Impact’s Nod-Krai era began with Version Luna I—commonly called Version 6.0—on September 10, 2025. The retrospective schedule for versions 6.0–6.7 runs through August 11, 2026. Guides also list characters by patch, but those listings are not the same as official confirmation of every character’s debut or of leak-based details such as rarity, element, weapon, and kit.
When did Genshin Impact 6.0 launch, and what was Luna I?
HoYoverse announced that Version Luna I: Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue would be released on September 10, 2025. In an August 29, 2025 PlayStation.Blog post, HoYoverse Studio Technical Director Zhenzhong Yi wrote: “We’re excited to announce that Genshin Impact Version Luna I, Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue, will be released on September 10.” Luna I is the official version name; players commonly refer to it as 6.0.
HoYoverse presented Luna I as the start of the year-long Song of the Welkin Moon version series and the introduction of Nod-Krai. The official announcement described Nod-Krai as a self-governing region on Teyvat’s edge, drawing people through its unique energy and shaped by factions with competing goals.
What was the Nod-Krai update schedule from 6.0 to 6.7?
The following dates are the retrospective schedule listed by GameWith, rather than a forecast. The run is listed as complete, ending August 11, 2026.

Which characters are listed for versions 6.0–6.7?
GameWith’s updated patch summaries associate the following characters with each version. This is a secondary retrospective index, not one official HoYoverse roster announcement, and the listing alone does not establish that every patch debut has been checked against its original announcement.

Which Nod-Krai characters are confirmed, and which details came from leaks?
Officially shown or announced
HoYoverse’s July 2025 Song of the Welkin Moon teaser, as reported by GamesRadar, officially introduced a group of characters in promotional material for the coming 6.X arc. That establishes that the characters shown were presented by HoYoverse; it does not, by itself, establish every later patch assignment or any rumored rarity, element, weapon, kit, or story details.
Listed retrospectively by patch
The names in the table above are patch associations from GameWith’s updated guide. Treat them as a useful retrospective index, not as a substitute for checking the corresponding official patch announcement when a categorical claim about a character’s debut matters. The available source record does not provide a primary-announcement audit for every name in the 6.0–6.7 list.

Beebom’s character page combines officially revealed characters with leaks and warns that leaked details may change. A predicted release order or a claim about a character’s rarity, element, weapon, abilities, or story is not official merely because a guide repeats it. TechBloat likewise cautioned in its May 2026 article that its projected schedule and character details were not official announcements. Neither source turns earlier speculation into a confirmed HoYoverse statement.

Older articles that called later dates projections were describing what was expected at the time. For this completed run, use the retrospective GameWith date list for the 6.1–6.7 schedule and keep the evidence categories separate: HoYoverse’s announcement confirms Luna I’s September 10, 2025 launch, while the full date table and character-to-patch index above come from a secondary guide. Promotional teasers confirm what HoYoverse showed, not every rumor about release timing or character attributes.
