HoYoverse announced that Version Luna I: Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue would be released on September 10, 2025. In an August 29, 2025 PlayStation.Blog post, HoYoverse Studio Technical Director Zhenzhong Yi wrote: “We’re excited to announce that Genshin Impact Version Luna I, Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue, will be released on September 10.” Luna I is the official version name; players commonly refer to it as 6.0.
HoYoverse presented Luna I as the start of the year-long Song of the Welkin Moon version series and the introduction of Nod-Krai. The official announcement described Nod-Krai as a self-governing region on Teyvat’s edge, drawing people through its unique energy and shaped by factions with competing goals.

A predicted release order or a claim about a character’s rarity, element, weapon, abilities, or story is not official merely because a guide repeats it. TechBloat likewise cautioned in its May 2026 article that its projected schedule and character details were not official announcements. Neither source turns earlier speculation into a confirmed HoYoverse statement.
