Which Psikyo games are on Switch?
Nintendo’s US store lists Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha and Psikyo Shooting Stars Bravo as digital Nintendo Switch editions. Both support TV, tabletop, and handheld play, with one or two players on a single system; Nintendo also says each behaves consistently on Switch 2. Check the Alpha listing and Bravo listing for current US store details.

Which Psikyo shoot-’em-up should I play first?
Start with Strikers 1945 for a classic vertical shooter
The City Connection/Psikyo announcement describes Strikers 1945 as a vertical-scrolling shooter that first appeared in arcades in 1995. Its announced Steam version offered six aircraft with different characteristics, seven selectable Arcade-mode difficulty levels, screen-orientation options, configurable controls, continues, Score Attack, and online rankings. Those details describe the version covered by the 2020 official announcement; they should not be assumed to describe every later release.

Choose by series if you already have a favorite
- Pick Alpha if the Strikers 1945 trilogy is your main draw, or you want its three games together with Sol Divide, Dragon Blaze, and Zero Gunner 2.
- Pick Bravo if you want Gunbird and Gunbird 2 alongside all three named Samurai Aces entries.
- If you’re browsing individual releases, use the official catalog to find titles and platform links, then confirm that the specific edition is sold in your region.
Can I play Psikyo games on PC?
The official Psikyo Portal links Steam listings for a broader set of games. A link in the catalog does not establish that a title is currently for sale in every country. The portal also carries an official 2020 announcement for a Strikers 1945 Steam version. Separately, Meristation reported in October 2025 that 12 earlier Psikyo titles had been removed from Steam sale after a license expired. A separately surfaced 2025 Strikers 1945 listing should not be treated as the same product as the older version based on the available information. Before purchasing, search your current Steam store for the exact title and check its publisher and regional availability; the October 2025 report is a dated account, not a live store-status check.

The Nintendo US listings for Shooting Stars Alpha and Bravo specify digital Switch editions. Separately, the official portal lists package editions of Psikyo Shooting Library Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 for PS4, with 2022 release dates, as well as earlier Switch package editions. These are Japanese-market listings; before ordering a boxed copy, confirm the precise contents, language, and region with the seller. A package listing does not establish current stock or compatibility with a particular console setup.

- Choose the games first. Use the Alpha and Bravo lineups above to match the collection to the series you want.
- Choose a platform. For Switch, Nintendo’s US pages confirm digital editions and local play features. For individual Switch or PS4 releases, consult the official catalog and verify availability in your store region.
- Decide whether you need a boxed copy. The cited Nintendo US listings are digital. The portal’s package editions are a separate route; verify the seller’s region and edition details.
- On PC, verify the listing itself. Check the exact game, publisher, and current regional store page rather than assuming an older Steam release and a newer listing are interchangeable.
