That makes it a notable price for a 27-inch QHD QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate, but the listing is a snapshot—not evidence of an all-time low. Check the live price, seller, stock, shipping and return terms before buying.
What the $269 Walmart listing includes
The exact model is the Acer Nitro VG277U Xbiip (UM.HVXAA.X01). Walmart’s listing identifies a 27-inch monitor with a 2560 × 1440 QHD resolution, QD-OLED panel, 240 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium. The listing also advertises a 0.03 ms response time; that is a product claim, not an independently measured result.
At 27 inches and QHD resolution, the display offers more detail than a 1080p screen of the same size while asking less of a graphics card than 4K. A 240 Hz ceiling is most useful when a PC can render a high frame rate in the games you play. Actual experience depends on the system, game settings and connection; the listed refresh rate alone does not guarantee 240 frames per second.
Is it worth $269?
It may suit a buyer specifically seeking QD-OLED contrast and high-refresh-rate QHD gaming at this listed price, provided the stand, brightness and inputs meet their needs. The $269 price is compelling context for a purchase decision, but the available price evidence does not establish a historical low or prove it is the best current offer elsewhere.
#1 Best Overall
- Quality Visuals: The KG271 27" IPS monitor with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio presents stunning, high-quality images with excellent detail. The zero-frame design does away with the thick frames found on conventional monitors freeing up precious screen space.
- AMD FreeSync Premium Technology: Say “goodbye” to stuttering and tearing. With AMD FreeSync Premium, the monitor’s frames are synced with the graphics card’s frames, which eliminates screen tearing and provide the smoothest gaming experience.
- 200Hz Refresh Rate: The 200Hz refresh rate speeds up the frames per second to deliver an ultra-smooth 2D motion scene. With a rapid refresh rate of up to 200Hz, Acer Gaming Monitors shorten the time it takes for frame rendering, lower input lag and provide gamers an excellent in-game experience.
- Responsive!!: Up to 0.5ms GTG (Gray to Gray) response time enhanced gamers’ in-game experience. No matter if the fast-moving action or any dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting with KG271 Gaming Monitor.
- New Depths of Color Accuracy: This monitor is ideal for color-critical projects producing accurate colors, supporting sRGB 99%. An amazing monitor for graphic designers, photographers and film editors.
Walmart showed $349.99 as the previous price alongside the $269 listing. That comparison is the retailer’s displayed reference price, not a dated price-history series. An October 5, 2026 iTechGuides report says a “lowest since launch” characterization could not be independently verified with dated price data. IGN’s October 5 RSS listing repeated a favorable Prime Day comparison, but that promotional assessment is not a head-to-head test.

Brightness and room lighting
iTechGuides reports 200-nit brightness and a glare surface. Those details could matter in a bright room or near windows. No independent brightness or HDR-performance test is established here, so do not treat the listed or reported figures as a measured assessment of real-world performance.

Stand and connections

Check the physical setup and connection requirements you have—especially if you need height adjustment or must connect several devices. Verify these specifications against Acer documentation if they are decisive for your setup.
Performance evidence
The available information identifies the panel and advertised specifications but does not provide independent testing of motion handling, color, brightness, HDR behavior or panel uniformity. Treat the 240 Hz and 0.03 ms figures as specifications or claims, not proof of a particular measured result.
