At CES 2025 in Las Vegas on January 6, Acer announced a broad hardware lineup rather than one flagship device: Ryzen AI-powered Swift Go laptops, value-focused Aspire systems, the compact Revo Box AI, Nitro gaming laptops and two unusually large Windows gaming handhelds. Announced prices and launch windows were guidance for 2025, not a guarantee of current stock or August 2026 pricing.
The important distinction is that “AI PC” does not automatically mean “Copilot+ PC.” Microsoft’s Copilot+ definition requires a neural-processing unit capable of more than 40 trillion operations per second (TOPS), and features vary by processor, region and Windows update.

Acer described the portfolio as using processors with integrated NPUs for demanding AI workloads. Its announcement covered the Swift Go AI, Aspire 14 AI, Revo Box AI and Aspire all-in-one families in its Copilot+ PC portfolio announcement.
Which Acer CES models are actually Copilot+ PCs?
Use the processor and exact model number—not the word “AI” in the product name—to determine eligibility. Microsoft says a Copilot+ PC needs an NPU exceeding 40 TOPS; Microsoft also notes that experiences can vary by device, market and update (Copilot+ overview; feature FAQ).

- Intended or qualifying families: Acer’s AMD Ryzen AI 300 Swift Go configurations were positioned as Copilot+ systems. Some Intel Core Ultra Series 2 configurations may qualify, depending on the specific chip and SKU.
- Verify before buying: Aspire 14 AI included older Core Ultra 5 135H variants that do not meet the Copilot+ threshold. A family name alone is insufficient.
- Not Copilot+ handhelds: Nitro Blaze 8 and 11 use the Ryzen 7 8840HS. They are gaming handhelds, not Copilot+ PCs under Microsoft’s definition.
Swift Go 14 AI and Swift Go 16 AI
These were Acer’s most direct push into affordable Copilot+ productivity laptops. Both use AMD Ryzen AI 300-series options, support up to 32GB of memory and offer Wi-Fi 7. Depending on configuration, buyers can choose OLED or IPS touch displays. AcerSense provides system controls, while Acer Experience Zone groups the company’s AI utilities.

The prices were launch starting prices reported at CES, not guarantees for every display, memory or storage combination. OLED brings stronger contrast and color but can cost more and consume more power than IPS. Integrated Radeon graphics suit office work, media and lighter games; they are not a substitute for a dedicated gaming GPU. Acer also announced separate Intel Core Ultra 200H Swift Go refreshes, so a later Intel Swift Go 14 or 16 is not automatically the AMD Copilot+ configuration described here.
Aspire 14 AI: the value-oriented family
Acer announced the Aspire 14 AI from $799.99, with first models expected in February 2025. The family spans multiple processors, displays, memory and storage options, including configurations reported with 32GB of RAM and OLED panels.
That breadth is useful for shoppers on a budget but creates a specification trap: some Aspire 14 versions are not Copilot+ eligible. Check the processor, Windows edition, display and full model number on the retailer or Acer specification sheet rather than assuming every “AI” model has the same NPU capability.

Aspire Vero 16: sustainability as the differentiator
Acer announced the Aspire Vero 16 with Intel Core Ultra 200H processors and integrated Intel Arc graphics, from $799. Acer says the laptop is carbon-neutral across its lifecycle and that more than 70% of the chassis uses post-consumer recycled plastic and bio-based oyster-shell material. It also received CES 2025 Innovation Award Honoree recognition.
Those are Acer’s corporate and product claims, not an independent lifecycle assessment. Recycled or bio-based content does not by itself establish superior durability, repairability or upgrade access. Acer’s contemporaneous details are in its Swift Go and Aspire Vero announcement.
Revo Box AI: a 0.75-liter desktop
The Revo Box AI was Acer’s compact alternative to a laptop docked at a desk. Acer describes an approximately 0.75-liter chassis with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, more desktop-style connectivity and a starting price of $799.99, with arrival planned for the second quarter of 2025.

The announcement does not establish whether RAM is soldered, whether storage is user-replaceable, which exact USB and display outputs each SKU includes, or how the cooling performs under sustained loads. Confirm those details before purchase. Remember to budget for a monitor, keyboard and mouse; the advertised price is for the computer, not a complete workstation.

Aspire S AI and Aspire C AI all-in-ones

The 27-inch Aspire S was the model reported with an option above 1080p; the 27-inch Aspire C was reported with a 1080p starting configuration. All-in-ones simplify a family room or home office with one integrated screen, speakers and fewer cables. Their trade-off is limited flexibility: replacing the computer or display independently is usually easier with a mini PC and separate monitor.
Nitro V gaming laptops
Nitro V expanded across 14-, 15-, 16- and 17-inch formats. Most announced models were expected to use AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 or Ryzen AI 7 350 processors; the Nitro V 15 was identified as an exception using the Ryzen 7 8845HS. Reported configurations used Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 laptop GPUs. Acer had not finalized U.S. pricing at announcement and expected launches to begin in February 2025.
For gaming, the GPU, wattage and cooling matter more than the AI label. An RTX 4050 can make sense for 1080p gaming, but identical GPU names do not guarantee identical performance because laptop power limits and thermal designs differ. A high-resolution panel also places more load on an entry-level GPU; a 1080p high-refresh configuration may be the sensible pairing. Compare RAM layout, SSD expansion, screen refresh rate and GPU power before paying a premium. Acer’s CES announcement did not establish RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 upgrades for this Nitro V range.

The Blaze 11’s reported weight of about 2.3 pounds (1,050 grams) and its 55Wh battery make the large screen a specialized feature, not a universal advantage. It is better suited to couch or tabletop play than commuting. Both displays run at 2560×1600, so demanding games may require resolution scaling or reduced settings. Final battery life, fan noise, power limits and Windows launcher behavior cannot be inferred from the announcement alone.

What to verify before buying
- Match the complete Acer model number to the listing; Acer reused family names across processor generations and regions.
- Confirm whether the processor meets Microsoft’s more-than-40-TOPS Copilot+ requirement.
- Check “up to” memory, storage and display specifications against the exact SKU.
- For Nitro V, compare GPU wattage, screen refresh rate, RAM configuration and SSD access.
- For Revo Box and all-in-ones, verify serviceability, ports and replacement options.
- Treat CES pricing and February, April or Q2 launch windows as historical guidance, not current retail facts.
Update: CES announcement versus today
Acer’s current catalog includes later generations, and its current Swift Go 14/16 AI page reflects a later Intel configuration rather than proof that the original AMD CES 2025 SKU remains available. Acer’s new-products page is the appropriate place to check replacements and present listings. The CES-era prices in this article should not be read as verified August 2026 street prices.
