Affordable Webinar Platforms for Creators and Businesses

Compare webinar platforms by room size, registration tools, production workflow, and true cost—not just the lowest monthly price.

The affordable webinar platform is the one whose attendee limit and workflow fit your event—not necessarily the one with the lowest displayed monthly price. A 50-person room, 100 registrants, and 500 webinar seats measure different things. For creators focused on live production and distribution, compare StreamYard; for structured registration and follow-up, consider Riverside or Demio; for sales features, look at WebinarJam; and for a larger audience, assess Zoom’s full cost, including its required Workplace Pro subscription.

Prices below are vendor-listed USD figures checked on October 3, 2026. Annual prices are monthly equivalents that require an annual commitment. Plan details and prices can change, and Zoom’s displayed USD pricing came from a localized pricing page; confirm the current checkout price and availability for your region.

Affordable webinar platforms at a glance

Platform and entry option Vendor-listed price Audience limit stated Best fit
StreamYard Advanced $88.99/month, or $68.99/month equivalent billed annually On-Air webinars for up to 100 viewers Creator-led, branded live production and distribution. Check whether viewer-oriented On-Air meets your needs for registration and lead management. StreamYard pricing
Riverside Webinar $99/month, or $79/month equivalent billed annually Up to 100 registrants Structured webinars with registration, Q&A, polls, reminders, HubSpot integration, and webinar analytics. Riverside pricing
Demio Starter $63/month, or $45/month equivalent billed yearly 50-person attendee room; one host Solo entrepreneurs and small businesses beginning with a small room. Demio describes Starter as “Perfect for small businesses and solo entrepreneurs getting started with webinars.” Demio pricing
WebinarJam Starter $49/month, or $39/month equivalent billed annually Up to 100 attendees per webinar; one host; one-hour maximum Small sales-oriented webinars that benefit from engagement and offer tools. WebinarJam pricing
Zoom Webinars standard offer $89/month, or $66.67/month equivalent billed annually Up to 500 attendees Capacity-led events for users prepared to include the required Zoom Workplace Pro subscription in the total. The price is from a localized USD display. Zoom pricing

These are not directly interchangeable plans: an attendee room, registrant cap, and viewer limit describe different stages or measures of an event. Prices may also apply per host or account, and taxes, extra hosts, capacity upgrades, or prerequisites can change checkout cost.

Which platform fits your webinar?

For creator-style production and distribution: StreamYard

StreamYard is the strongest fit in this comparison when branded studio-style live production and distribution matter more than a full business webinar funnel. Its Advanced plan lists On-Air webinars for up to 100 viewers. Before choosing it for a business event, verify that the registration, lead capture, and follow-up features meet your requirements.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

For registration and structured audience engagement: Riverside

Riverside’s Webinar plan is the relevant tier for structured webinars: the listed ceiling is 100 registrants, and the plan includes registration, Q&A, polls, email reminders, HubSpot integration, and webinar analytics. Riverside describes Grow as offering live streaming and multistreaming, but its Webinar tier or higher is needed for the structured webinar features. Its pricing FAQ says annual billing saves up to 20%; compare the commitment against monthly checkout.

For a small room with a solo host: Demio

Demio Starter provides a 50-person attendee room and one host. That can be a sensible entry point when a small room is enough, but it may be poor value if attendance is likely to exceed the cap. Growth options shown include rooms of 150, 500, 1,000, and 3,000; the price depends on the selected room size and host configuration, so check the live selector rather than assuming Starter’s price scales predictably.

For sales features and larger WebinarJam events

WebinarJam Starter lists one host, up to 100 attendees, and a one-hour maximum. Basic raises the stated capacity to 500 attendees, permits two hosts, and allows up to two hours. The vendor lists customizable pages, email and SMS, live offers, polls and surveys, and A/B testing among plan features. Automated webinars are handled through sister platform EverWebinar and are included only in named higher packages; confirm the specific package if replay automation is essential.

For up to 500 attendees: evaluate Zoom’s full subscription cost

Zoom’s standard Webinars offer is displayed at $89 monthly or $66.67/month equivalent billed annually for up to 500 attendees. Zoom Workplace Pro is required, so the webinar line item is not the complete cost. Add the prerequisite subscription before comparing it with standalone platforms. Zoom’s pricing FAQ describes capacity-based webinar subscriptions and says standard Webinar plans are available monthly or annually; Plus and Events also offer pay-per-attendee options. Zoom describes standard webinar use as: “Run reliable, high-quality broadcasts on our standard webinar platform.”

How to choose without overpaying

  1. Estimate peak live attendance. Use the expected number of concurrent viewers or attendees, not only registrations. Compare that number with the plan’s stated counting rule. A plan for 100 registrants does not establish that 100 people can attend concurrently.
  2. Calculate the real checkout total. Compare monthly checkout with the annual-billing commitment, and account for required subscriptions, host or seat charges, taxes, and capacity upgrades. Zoom explicitly requires Workplace Pro; Demio’s price varies with room and host selection.
  3. List the event tasks you need. Decide whether you need registration, reminders, Q&A, polls, CRM integration, engagement analytics, automated or replay webinars, or only a live broadcast. A live-streaming tier may not include the registration and follow-up workflow a business expects.
  4. Separate creator production needs from business follow-up. Creators may prioritize branded layouts, guests, multistreaming, recording, and repurposing. Businesses may prioritize lead capture, marketing integrations, analytics, and team controls.
  5. Choose commitment based on confidence. Annual billing lowers the displayed monthly equivalent on several plans, but it is not the same as paying month to month. If your audience size or workflow is uncertain, compare the monthly option before accepting a longer commitment.

Costs, limits, and practical cautions

  • Capacity is not one universal metric. StreamYard’s listed On-Air limit is viewers; Riverside’s is registrants; Demio states an attendee room; WebinarJam and Zoom list attendees. Confirm how each vendor counts the people who matter for your event.
  • Prices are snapshots, not guarantees. The figures here are vendor-listed USD amounts checked October 3, 2026. Verify the relevant official page and checkout for your region before purchasing.
  • Zoom’s displayed price needs extra care. The USD offer was retrieved from a localized pricing page, while the English page did not return populated price text. Confirm regional availability and the current price, and include Workplace Pro.
  • Some tiers need configuration to price accurately. Demio’s higher room options depend on its live selector. WebinarJam’s capacity, host count, and maximum duration vary by tier.
  • Audio quality is part of production, not a mandatory hardware purchase. Zoom identifies clear audio as a production goal, but the available plan information does not establish that an external microphone is necessary or identify a best model.

When a webinar platform is not the right tool

A webinar platform is for hosting an event with an audience workflow such as registration, interaction, or follow-up. It is not the same as keeping a prerecorded YouTube channel live around the clock. For that separate use case, StreamNeo keeps a YouTube stream running from uploaded videos in the cloud; it does not broadcast a camera feed or stream to other platforms. Details are at StreamNeo.

Or let it run in the cloud

Upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo loops the uploaded video from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. It streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; it also automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month.
