Wowhead lists the item as item level 50, unique, and bind-on-pickup. Its use is to catch the attention of a Delirious Ancient and draw it into combat. The item is for in-game quest progression, not a physical horn. Wowhead’s item listing describes its properties.
A Delirious Ancient encounter yields one Wild Offering according to Wowhead’s Season of Discovery guide. You need three offerings for the next step of the quest chain.

- Pick up The Wild Gods from Shadowtooth Emissary in Felwood.
- Obtain a Wildwhisper Draught from elite trolls in Jintha’Alor.
- Bring the draught to Razorfen Downs and clear the area around Amnennar the Coldbringer.
- Drink the draught to summon Spirit of Agamaggan, then speak with the spirit. This advances the quest and awards Agamaggan’s Roar.

Where do you use Agamaggan’s Roar for Wild Offerings?
Take the roar into one of the dungeon routes listed by the guides. First meet that dungeon’s encounter conditions; then use the item near the ghostly encounter mob to bring the Delirious Ancient into combat.

The triggers and offering details are from Wowhead’s guide. The guides report that you can repeat the same dungeon for all three offerings; you do not have to complete all three different instances. Warcraft Tavern’s guide also describes repeating an instance as an option.
Which dungeon route should you choose?
Choose based on the dungeon your group plans to run or whether you prefer variety. The published guides identify the triggers but do not establish reliable completion-time or difficulty comparisons, so there is no evidence-based fastest or easiest route to recommend.

What if the encounter does not appear?
The roar is used after the dungeon-specific conditions are met, not as a substitute for them. Confirm that you completed the correct bosses or encounter for your chosen route and look for the ghostly encounter mob before using the item. The available walkthroughs are third-party guides rather than official, item-specific Blizzard documentation, and their details may lag a patch; if the sequence does not work in your current game, check the quest state and current in-game prompts.
