AION 2’s official PC requirements call for Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), DirectX 12, broadband internet, and 100 GB of available storage. The minimum tier lists 8 GB of RAM and a GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB of VRAM; the recommended tier lists 16 GB and an RTX 2070 with 8 GB. Both tiers recommend an SSD. For FHD (1920×1080), Steam advises Very Low settings at minimum specs and Low at recommended specs; NCSOFT’s Korean page instead advises Normal for its recommended tier.
AION 2 PC system requirements
The global AION 2 Steam listing identifies the game as PC-only, built on Unreal Engine 5. Its minimum and recommended specifications are compatibility baselines, not guarantees of a particular frame rate.

How NCSOFT’s Korean requirements differ
NCSOFT’s Korean official download page gives similar baselines, with AMD graphics alternatives and slightly different CPU model numbers. Its FHD recommended preset also differs from Steam’s advice.

The regional pages should not be silently combined: Steam’s global listing names NVIDIA GPUs and recommends Low at the recommended tier, while NCSOFT’s Korean page includes AMD GPU alternatives and says Normal (보통) at that tier. Follow the locally available official listing for your region.
How to compare your PC with the requirements
Check every listed component rather than judging a system by its graphics card alone. A PC with a GPU near the listed tier may still fall short on memory, processor, operating system, DirectX support, or free storage.

- Processor: Compare the exact CPU model with the corresponding listed tier.
- Graphics and VRAM: Check both the GPU model and its dedicated video memory; the official examples pair the minimum GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB and the recommended RTX 2070 with 8 GB.
- System memory: Compare installed RAM with the 8 GB minimum or 16 GB recommended figures.
- System and API: The Steam listing specifies 64-bit Windows 10/11 and DirectX 12.
- Disk space and drive: Confirm 100 GB is available and note whether the installation drive is an SSD.
- Internet: Both Steam tiers list broadband internet.
What settings should you use?
The official preset notes are for FHD resolution (1920×1080) and describe settings intended to ensure compatibility. They do not promise a target FPS or establish how the game performs at 1440p, 4K, or in crowded battles.
- At the Steam minimum tier, start with Very Low at FHD.
- At the Steam recommended tier, start with Low at FHD.
- If following NCSOFT’s Korean page, its recommended-tier guidance is Normal at FHD; its minimum guidance is Very Low.
The official requirement and download pages do not provide measured frame rates or a tested, per-setting optimization guide. Any adjustment beyond the stated preset is an individual choice, not a verified performance recommendation.

Storage, SSDs, and installation
Both official sources specify 100 GB of available space and recommend an SSD. The 100 GB figure is required available space, not a stated download size. The pages do not identify a required SSD interface or form factor, and they do not establish that an SSD increases FPS.
NCSOFT’s Korean page directs players to install PURPLE PC, choose AION 2 in the Store, then select the game-install action. That describes the Korean page’s installation path; check the official client or storefront available in your region.
