Alabaster Dawn version 0.2.0, released by Radical Fish Games on October 2, 2026, adds gameplay previews of Scala Moor and the Trial of Cryo, the Spear weapon, the Cryo aspect, and a combat-training Dojo. It also opens a route in Koro Valley and adds interface, audio, localization, and Somu’s Dream changes. The new areas are gameplay previews, not story-complete additions: the developer says the update does not extend the story.
What’s new in version 0.2.0?
The update’s biggest additions are playable areas and combat options. Radical Fish Games describes Scala Moor and the Trial of Cryo as gameplay previews. It also opens a previously blocked path in Koro Valley. The patch notes do not describe these additions as a continuation of the game’s story.
- Scala Moor: A gameplay preview with new field and battle music. It also adds a new layer to Somu’s Dream.
- Trial of Cryo: A gameplay preview with a new dungeon theme and puzzle mechanics.
- Koro Valley: A previously blocked path is now open.
The developer recommends keeping a save from before entering the previews if you want to replay them later with the intended story context.
Which new combat options does the update add?
Spear and Cryo
Version 0.2.0 adds the Spear as a melee weapon and Cryo as a new aspect. The previews also bring new enemies and several boss fights. The patch notes identify these as gameplay additions; story for the new content is planned for a future update.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The Dojo
A Dojo is now accessible from any Waysprout, giving players a place to practice combos. It provides infinite health and regenerating Divine Charge. Enemy essences unlock opponents to fight there.
What combat and control changes should players know about?
- Loadout switching: Press the current element’s aspect button again to swap loadouts.
- Gamepad aspect controls: A new option disables aspect changes from the right stick.
- Rumble: Gamepad rumble is adjustable. The developer calls this an initial iteration and says it is subject to feedback.
- Guarding: Guarding and blocking now consume stamina. You can still start a guard with no stamina, but it breaks if an attack is not parried.
- Boost: The boost recharge rate is decreased by 50%. The developer says compensating enchantments are planned.
What interface, localization, and audio updates are included?
The patch adds map markers, German localization, a working Treasure Radar, patch notes on the title screen, and more comparison information in the Gem Forge. It also includes changes to context help and how information appears on the world map. The developer cautions that German localization may be incomplete for recent additions, particularly preview content.
