That was a historical PC promotion, not evidence that the game is currently claimable or included with Amazon Luna.
What was the Prime Gaming offer?
Amazon’s July 2024 Prime Gaming update listed Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX as an Epic Games Store claim scheduled for July 11, 2024. The claim window has passed; the announcement does not establish ongoing availability. The July 2024 announcement identifies the storefront and date.
Is Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX on Amazon Luna now?
The old Epic Games Store giveaway and Amazon Luna are separate ways of accessing games. Amazon describes Luna as offering a rotating selection of games with Prime, but its current overview does not list Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX. Do not treat the 2024 claim as a current Luna entitlement. Check the live Luna catalog before subscribing or setting up a device, since selection and regional access can change.
Amazon’s overview names supported countries and says play through the Prime Video app on Fire TV is available in the US and UK. These are service availability details, not confirmation that this particular game is playable in those regions. See Amazon’s Luna overview for current service and country information.

What should you check before trying to get it?
- If you are looking for the old free claim: it was tied to Epic Games Store and scheduled for July 11, 2024, so confirm any current offer directly in the storefront rather than assuming the claim remains active.
- If you are considering Luna: search the current catalog for the exact title and confirm Luna is supported in your country and on your device.
- If you prefer a console copy: check the current Xbox or Nintendo marketplace for the edition, region, and availability you want. A past giveaway or a retail reference is not proof of a current listing.
