To reveal one, approach it and aim down the sights of Slayer’s Fang; shoot the solidified Anchor with the shotgun to earn quest progress. The route below follows the Revenant Slayer catalyst quests and the locations documented in January 2025. Destructoid’s walkthrough says to play on Expert with Slayer’s Fang equipped. Current in-game availability has not been established here, so check the mission and quest access in-game.
How Illusory Anchors work
The Anchors are encountered in the mission’s mirror-realm sections. Equip Slayer’s Fang and play on Expert, as specified by the location walkthrough. Anchors become more visible as you approach; aim down sights to make one solidify, then shoot it with Slayer’s Fang. Find all three in an area and complete the Expert mission to finish the associated catalyst quest.

The four area-specific quests are Revenant Slayer I through IV. Each corresponds to a different Slayer’s Fang catalyst.
Mirror Gallery: Revenant Slayer I
Find these Anchors in the first mirror-realm segment, after the Trickster encounter near the organ room.

Completing Revenant Slayer I and the Expert mission awards the Repulsor Brace catalyst.
Fighting Pit: Revenant Slayer II
During the Kaniks, the Mad Bomber encounter, enter the mirror realm to find all three.

- Central platform: Look above the platform in the middle of the arena.
- Back wall: Opposite the mirror portal, near a sealed door and statues.
- Side room: Check the wall among the statues and podiums.

Sanctum: Revenant Slayer III
Enter the mirror realm during the Hiraks, the Mindbender encounter. The Anchors are spread across its main room and a branching hallway.

- Near the table: In the arena, look beside a table on the right.
- Branching hallway: Follow the hallway leading off the main room; the Anchor is near boxes and a brazier.
Completing Revenant Slayer III and the Expert mission awards the Stats For All catalyst.
Jonathan LoChiatto reported in January 2025 that an Anchor disappearing for fireteam members after another player shot it caused unexpected progression trouble in their group. That account does not establish whether the issue persists or whether resetting the encounter will resolve it. If your progress does not register, check the quest and Anchor state before deciding whether to retry the encounter.

Throne Room: Revenant Slayer IV
During the final encounter, enter the mirror realm when the boss prepares its major attack.
- Near the throne: Check near the throne and close to the portal exit.
- Above the planter: Find the entryway opposite the chamber. Facing its doorway, look above the planter on the right.
- By the Awoken statue: Look above eye level along one side of the room, near an Awoken statue.
Completing Revenant Slayer IV and the Expert mission awards the Cascade Point catalyst.
