ExileDB lists 37 unique gloves in Path of Exile 2 patch 0.5.5, with character-level requirements ranging from 1 to 65. There is no universal best pair: the gloves serve different build functions, and their conditions or drawbacks can matter as much as their bonuses. This roster is a snapshot for client build 4.5.5.4, not a permanent total.
How many unique gloves are in Path of Exile 2?
ExileDB’s patch 0.5.5 list contains 37 unique gloves. The database says its item data was read from the game files for client build 4.5.5.4; it also says the unique modifiers are drawn from a Path of Building Community list. Requirements span character levels 1 through 65. See the ExileDB unique gloves list for the patch-specific roster.
Because item pools and modifiers can change between patches, treat the count and details here as applying to 0.5.5. For another patch, check the current in-game item text and a database that identifies its game-data version.

How to compare gloves for your build
Start with what the glove enables, then check whether its requirements and trade-offs fit the character. A modifier that looks powerful in isolation may not help if it conflicts with your skill setup, defenses, or party role.

#1 Best Overall
Match the mechanic to the build
- Unarmed attacks: Facebreaker is associated with unarmed attack mechanics, so assess it in the context of an unarmed setup rather than as a general-purpose damage upgrade.
- Poison: Plaguefinger and Snakebite support poison-oriented builds. Compare their exact current modifiers with how your build applies and scales poison.
- Spell damage: Doedre’s Tenure offers spell damage but comes with a cast-speed penalty. Consider whether the damage gain is worth the slower casting for your setup.
- Dexterity and Intelligence scaling: Hand of Wisdom and Action scales listed attack speed and lightning damage with Dexterity and Intelligence. Its value depends on the attributes and attack skills your build actually uses.
Check defenses and requirements
Unique gloves use different bases, so compare their armour, evasion, and energy shield alongside character-level and attribute requirements. The roster’s level range alone does not tell you which pair is appropriate: check the specific item’s requirements and defensive values against your character and the slot you need to fill. The PoE2DB gloves database provides another reference for glove details.
Read conditional effects literally
- Gravebind: Its kill-attribution effect depends on enemies being in your presence. That condition can affect whether it suits your solo or party setup.
- Killjoy: The listed mechanics include a flask-related life-recovery drawback and doubled on-kill effects. Evaluate both sides, including whether your build can reliably meet the on-kill condition.
- Atziri’s Acuity: Listings do not fully agree. ExileDB and Mobalytics show differing modifier sets, so verify the item against current game data instead of combining those versions. Mobalytics has a separate PoE 2 unique gloves listing.
What this list does not establish
The roster is not a tested ranking. It does not establish which glove is best for a particular build, current trade prices, player popularity, or a verified drop source for every item. Use the list to identify candidates, then confirm the item’s live modifiers and requirements before committing to a build or trade.
