That total is patch-sensitive: an older PCGamesN list had 80 on May 7, 2026. Blueprints mainly come from scavenged containers, but Weekly Trials, quests, Trophy Projects, bosses and map events provide important exceptions.
How blueprints work
Take a blueprint to Speranza, select it, then choose Learn and Consume. The item is consumed and its crafting recipe is permanently added to your account. Learned duplicates are marked and cannot be consumed again.
The recipe’s crafting station and material costs vary by item; the available source data does not provide a complete cost table.
Where blueprints drop
For ordinary scavenging, match the recipe type to the container pool. These are practical pool assignments rather than guarantees for an individual item.

Many scavengable blueprints can appear on multiple maps. Quest, boss and event rewards are restricted to their stated source instead of following the normal container pools.
Named blueprint sources
The following are the specifically identified targets and exceptions in the current source data.

Condition-locked and special sources
Hurricane
Hurricane is the most broadly useful condition for blueprint farming. First Wave Raider Caches are the priority, with Canto and Bobcat among the named targets reported from this route. Tempest can also appear during Hurricane.
Night Raid
Night Raid is especially valuable for rare weapon recipes, including Tempest. Use it when your goal is a weapon blueprint rather than a general category sweep.

Locked Gate is a named route for Bobcat. When that condition is active, search its First Wave Caches and other eligible containers.
Close Scrutiny
Dolabra is tied to the Close Scrutiny event and Assessor containers. Treat it as an event chase, not as a normal Raider-, medical- or industrial-container drop.
Boss and quest rewards
Equalizer comes from the Harvester event or boss. Burletta and Lure Grenade are direct quest rewards, so container luck is not the correct way to target them.
Best farming routes by map
When no special event or quest is active, combine the correct container pool with dense, repeatable locations. The current index highlights these route anchors:

For a general weapon hunt, Raider Containers are the default priority. For medical recipes, route through Medical Containers; for explosives, industrial sites; for augments, security areas; and for utilities, electrical locations.

A practical blueprint-farming loop
- Choose the target’s source class. Check whether it is an ordinary container drop, condition-locked item, quest reward, boss drop, event reward or trial/project reward.
- Activate the right condition when possible. Use Hurricane for First Wave Cache farming, Night Raid for Tempest, Locked Gate for Bobcat, and Close Scrutiny for Dolabra.
- Clear high-value containers first. Prioritize First Wave Raider Caches, breach rooms, keyed rooms and security lockers before low-density detours.
- Finish the route with dense residential containers. Residential areas such as Ruby Residence and Grandioso Apartments provide volume when you are farming ordinary drops.
- Extract and learn new recipes in Speranza. Use Learn and Consume immediately so duplicates are clearly marked on later runs.
Community players commonly estimate roughly a 1–2% blueprint chance per container, but no official drop rate has been published. Treat that figure as an unofficial expectation, not a tested or guaranteed statistic.

The blueprint system also includes Weekly Trials, quests and Trophy Projects. These routes matter when a recipe is not in the normal container pool; Vita Shot and Vita Spray, for example, have medical-container routes as well as ARC Surveyor, Trophy Project or quest sources listed for them.
Executive producer Aleksander Grøndal has described an alternate system called Research: items found in the world provide research points, which can be spent to choose research paths that include some blueprints. The number of blueprints covered and the difficulty were not specified, so availability may change in later updates.

Keeping the list current
Blueprint totals and sources can change with patches. Flashpoint 1.22.0 added Canto, Dolabra and Surge Coil, while the indexed total had already risen from 80 to 83 between the May and September 2026 lists. Recheck the blueprint’s in-game source after every major update, especially for event and condition rewards.
The Bottom Line
For most recipes, farm the matching container pool and prioritize Hurricane First Wave Raider Caches. Switch to Night Raid for Tempest, Locked Gate for Bobcat, Close Scrutiny for Dolabra, Harvester for Equalizer, and the named quests for Burletta and Lure Grenade. Because the roster is patch-sensitive, use 83 as the September 16, 2026 count rather than a permanent total.
