The key difference is how they work: Grace gets their benefits by carrying them in her inventory, while Leon must equip each charm to a compatible weapon. Below are the locations, unlock requirements, effects, and important drawbacks. Capcom has also confirmed two charms for the Deluxe Edition without naming them, so the nine-item checklist should not be treated as a verified total across every edition.
How charms work in Resident Evil Requiem
Grace’s charms activate while they are in her inventory; she does not need to equip them. Leon’s charms, by contrast, must be attached to an eligible weapon. That distinction matters when deciding what to carry or which weapon should receive a charm. The effects range from direct firepower boosts to conditional bonuses and trade-offs.
Names vary between guides. The checklist below uses the newer names in César Rebolledo’s August 10, 2026 Vandal guide, with earlier guide names in parentheses where they differ. The nine entries are that guide’s core checklist, not a confirmed all-editions grand total. Vandal’s charm guide and GameSpot’s location guide provide the listed locations and effects.
All Charm Locations in Resident Evil Requiem
Grace’s charms
- Bittersweet Watch (Stakeout Takeout): Increases knife power and durability. In the Patient Center, defeat the Cook and take the Pantry Key, then use it to open the pantry and collect the charm.
- Spy Eye (Eye Spy): Increases the chance of surviving lethal damage. Defeat Chunk in the Patient Center to obtain it.
- Tough Rookie (Rugged Rookie): Increases firepower. Redeem points for it through Special Content.
Leon’s charms
- Connoisseur: Increases firepower. In the Pantry, find the warped cabinet Leon can pry open and take the charm inside.
- BSAA Emblem: Increases rifle firepower when no scope is equipped. Find it in BSAA Container #04.
- S.T.A.R.S. Emblem: Increases automatic-weapon firepower, but also increases aim sway. It is part of Barry’s scavenger hunt: after obtaining the key, open the locker in the RPD West Office.
- Unbridled Ambition (Power Shades): For the Requiem only, grants unlimited bullet penetration and increases the firepower of the last bullet in the cylinder. Find it in a briefcase associated with Barry’s scavenger hunt. GameSpot places the case in the Armory. A code is not included here because the available location guides do not establish it consistently.
- Teddy Bear (Cute Bear): Increases shotgun firepower at medium range while reducing it at close range. Look near the abandoned van in the parking garage.
- Loyal Partner (Trusted Companion): Increases handgun bullet penetration. Unlock it by defeating 300 enemies through Special Content.
How to choose a charm for Leon
Leon’s effects are tied to weapon type or combat conditions, so match each charm to how and where you use the weapon. The BSAA Emblem is conditional on having no scope equipped; the Teddy Bear favors medium-range shotgun use over close-range damage; and the S.T.A.R.S. Emblem trades steadier aim for more automatic-weapon firepower. Unbridled Ambition is specific to the Requiem, while Loyal Partner benefits handguns. The Connoisseur offers a straightforward firepower increase.

Edition scope and repeat playthroughs
Capcom’s November 26, 2025 Deluxe Edition announcement lists “2 charms” among the included extras but does not name them. Those two edition charms cannot be identified from that announcement, so they are not added to the nine-item checklist above.
Guides report that collected charms carry over for later playthroughs: Grace’s obtained charms return in the item box, and Vandal says Leon can buy previously obtained charms from the Supply Box for zero credits. Some acquisitions also require optional exploration, a challenge-point redemption, or a kill-count milestone; story progression can make areas unavailable, so investigate accessible side areas before moving on.
