The Adopt Me! Endangered Egg added 10 pets across five rarity tiers. The official lineup is below; whether the egg is currently available is less certain, because the reported retirement date comes from a third-party archive rather than an official update.
Which pets are in the Endangered Egg?
Adopt Me!’s official “Endangered Egg Notes!” announcement, published March 2, 2026, lists the pets by rarity as follows:
| Rarity | Pets |
|---|---|
| Common | California Condor; Galapagos Sea Lion |
| Uncommon | Black Tiger; Kakapo |
| Rare | Black Rhino; Mexican Wolf |
| Ultra Rare | Black-Footed Ferret; Pangolin |
| Legendary | Sea Turtle; Blue Whale |

Is the Endangered Egg retired?
A third-party Adopt Me! archive says the egg left the Gumball Machine when the Fairytale Egg arrived on August 29, 2026, and describes it as retired. That date is not confirmed by the official announcement, which was published earlier. Treat the retirement report as unverified by an official source, and check a newer Adopt Me! update or the in-game Gumball Machine for current availability before relying on it.

Does the game egg support real wildlife conservation?
In its March 2, 2026 announcement, Adopt Me! said it donated $15,000 to the Wildlife Conservation Network to support conservationists protecting endangered species. This is the game announcement’s reported donation figure; it does not establish an independently audited conservation outcome or mean that buying an egg or toy funded the donation.

The game’s pet names and rarity tiers describe a fictional collectible lineup, not a scientific or legal assessment of each species’ conservation status. Separately, the Scottish Animal Welfare Commission’s report discusses real exotic-animal trade and welfare. It relays a 2020 German survey that recorded 100,343 individual animals across five online platforms and ten Facebook groups over six months; reptiles accounted for 85,271 (84.98%) of those records. These are figures from that Germany-specific survey, not global totals or counts of Adopt Me! pets. Read the Scottish Animal Welfare Commission report.

Jazwares lists an Adopt Me! five-inch surprise plush series featuring collectible pets and exclusive virtual item codes. The product listing names examples such as Leopard Shark, Bee, and Seagull; it does not establish that the series includes any of the Endangered Egg’s ten pets or that the toys are currently available. See Jazwares’ Adopt Me! product information. Jazwares announced a multiyear global master toy licensing agreement with Uplift Games in 2022, but that agreement alone does not verify a specific Endangered Egg product.
