There are three Vault Key Fragments in the Fadefields, one in each of Coastal Bonescape, The Howl, and Idolator’s Noose. Find the Coastal Bonescape fragment in Stillshore, grapple and climb to a cave northeast of The Launchpad for The Howl fragment, then grapple open the space beneath Rosemary’s Reserve for the Idolator’s Noose fragment. With all three collected, head to the Arch of Inceptus in the Dissected Plateau.

Walkthroughs sometimes number the fragments differently, so use the subregion names to keep track of which one you have found.

Coastal Bonescape: find the fragment in Stillshore
Travel to Stillshore, in the southwestern corner of Coastal Bonescape, and search the coastal side of the village. Check the porch on or beside the southwestern building: the fragment rests on a crate. Icy Veins describes approaching from Abandoned Post Safehouse along the coastline and looking for a water-facing porch at the Ripper camp.

The Howl: reach the cave northeast of The Launchpad
Use The Launchpad as your landmark and head north or north-northeast toward the nearby mountain. Approach from the mountain’s northern side, then grapple and climb to a small hollow beneath an overhang. The fragment is inside the cave. The precise approach described by walkthroughs varies slightly, but they point to the same cave by The Launchpad.

Idolator’s Noose: open the hidden space below Rosemary’s Reserve
At Rosemary’s Reserve, look below the platform or building for a vent or cover. Use the grapple to pull it away, then enter the nook underneath. The fragment is by or on the arm of a dead Ripper. A Marcus bobblehead in the nook, noted by PC Gamer, is another landmark that can help confirm you are in the right spot.

Use Order Silos if you need help finding the search areas
Order Silos in The Howl, Coastal Bonescape, and Dissected Plateau can point you toward areas to search, but you do not need to use them to collect the fragments. Once you reach the general area, follow the in-game proximity radar: its notches fill as you get closer to a fragment.

After collecting all three fragments, travel to the Arch of Inceptus in the Dissected Plateau. Walkthroughs place the entrance on a high plateau or cliff in the region; use the game’s marker or radar to help pinpoint it.
Clearing the vault rewards a glide-pack upgrade. PC Gamer specifies that the upgrade increases glide-pack regeneration.
