Epic’s announcement listed no cosmetic reward for finishing the quests. Scorpion’s in-match drops and the collaboration’s Item Shop cosmetics were separate from the quest payout.
All six Mortal Kombat quests and XP rewards
Epic announced the quests on March 29, 2025, and said they would begin unlocking on April 1 at 9 AM ET, with additional quests becoming available progressively. Each objective paid 30,000 XP.
- Hit 10 players with Ice Slide — 30,000 XP
- Deal 500 damage to players while on the bridge at The Pit — 30,000 XP
- Shatter 5 players’ Shield beyond 10 meters — 30,000 XP
- Collect the First Blood Medallion in 2 different matches — 30,000 XP
- Hit an opponent with both a Kombat Kit air kick and uppercut within 5 seconds — 30,000 XP
- Defeat Scorpion while carrying Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit — 30,000 XP
The six payouts add up to 180,000 XP (six quests multiplied by 30,000 XP); Epic stated the per-quest amount, while the total is calculated from it. Epic’s announcement does not state an official end date. A Fortnite Wiki entry reports that the quests were available through April 15, 2025, but that date is secondary-source information.
Did the quests reward cosmetics?
No cosmetic was listed as a reward for completing these six quests in Epic’s announcement. The quest reward was XP. The announcement also discussed Scorpion gameplay items and Item Shop bundles, but those were separate collaboration content—not quest-completion rewards.

How Scorpion’s drops differed from quest rewards
Epic said defeating Scorpion, who was coming to the Island on April 1, would reward players with the Mythic Scorpion’s Kombat Kit and First Blood Medallion. The standard Scorpion’s Kombat Kit was also due to appear in chests. Scorpion could be found at one of three new landmarks: The Pit, The Living Forest, or The Dead Pool. These were in-match items and locations, distinct from the 30,000 XP quest payouts. Epic also stated that Scorpion, his Kombat Kit, and the First Blood Medallion would not be included in tournaments.

Epic separately advertised the Klassic Kombat Bundle, featuring Scorpion (MK3), Raiden (MK3), and Kitana (MK3) Outfits and associated cosmetics. It also advertised a Lamborghini Countach + Scorpion & Sub-Zero Bundle. The Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei decals in that offer work only with the Lamborghini Countach Car Body. These were Item Shop offers described in the announcement, not rewards for completing the quests; the announcement does not establish their current availability.
