Griffin, Elk, Mandrake, and Gnome were also tied to the wider update through its chest and shop systems. Those acquisition routes are historical; their current availability has not been verified.
Which pets were Admin War event rewards?
A contemporaneous Beebom guide and a Fandom event overview identify these four pets as rewards from the Admin War event:
- Lemon Lion: Its Brain-Roar ability can mutate a random fruit with Brainrot, while Citrus Roar can grant bonus pet experience.
- Peach Wasp: The guide describes abilities involving fruit mutations and cooldown reduction.
- Apple Gazelle: Apple-named fruit may duplicate when collected, and harvesting Sugar Apple may apply the Warped mutation.
- Green Bean: It can sacrifice a Beanstalk fruit to make a random plant grow instantly, with a fruit-size bonus.
These are source-reported ability descriptions, not independently tested results. The guide’s “four new pets” framing refers to the event-reward group; it also discusses other pets associated with the wider update.
What other pets were associated with the update?
The August 23, 2025 update announcement, as quoted in an archived update log, names Griffin and “3+ More” among new pets and mentions a Skyroot Chest. Beebom also discusses Elk and Mandrake as Skyroot Chest pets, and Gnome as a Friendship Shop pet. These belong to the wider update context, not the four-pet event-reward list.

| Pet | Historical association reported in 2025 | Reported ability or effect |
|---|---|---|
| Griffin | Skyroot Chest | A cyclone can advance cooldowns of pets it strikes and may apply Cyclonic to struck fruit. A pet reference reports a 15-minute ability cycle. |
| Elk | Skyroot Chest | Beebom reported a 2.54% chance for berry fruit to remain after collection. |
| Mandrake | Skyroot Chest | Beebom reported a 3.57% chance, when harvesting Mandrake crops, to apply Rot to a random garden fruit. |
| Gnome | Friendship Shop | It can apply the Gnomed mutation; Beebom said the chance increases with each Gnome cosmetic in the garden. |
The Elk and Mandrake percentages and the other ability details above are Beebom’s 2025 reporting, not guarantees of current odds or unchanged mechanics. The archived announcement says the Skyroot Chest contains three possible pets and three possible seeds, while Beebom discusses a broader chest list. The available sources therefore do not establish an exhaustive chest pool or settled chest odds.
How were the pets obtained at launch?
In its 2025 guide, Beebom reported the Skyroot Chest as the route for Griffin, Elk, and Mandrake, and the Friendship Shop as the route for Gnome. It also said the chest could be purchased from the Friendship Shop or crafted. The four event pets were presented as Admin War event rewards. These are historical routes only: the sources do not verify that any of these methods, shops, or rewards are still available in the live game.

What is confirmed about the update date and current availability?
An archived update log dates the Admin War and Beanstalk Part 2 update to August 23, 2025. The event-pet list is corroborated by the contemporaneous Beebom guide and Fandom event overview; the wider-update distinctions come from the guide and archived announcement. No live-game audit establishes current pet availability, the present Skyroot Chest pool, or whether abilities and probabilities have changed.
For a historical reference, the archived announcement also describes Pet Achievements as seven rarity-based achievement tiers that award XP and other rewards. The archive attributes the announcement to the official Discord update channel, but the original post was not directly inspected.
