For the 2026 return of Grow a Garden’s Beanstalk Event, Jack can request nine plant types: Berry, Flower, Fruit, Leafy, Vegetable, Woody, Prickly, Stalky, and Tropical. Match the active request when submitting harvested plants; the category list differs from the 2025 reference.

2026 Beanstalk Event plant types

Event version Plant types
2026 return Berry, Flower, Fruit, Leafy, Vegetable, Woody, Prickly, Stalky, Tropical
2025 original Berry, Flower, Fruit, Leafy, Sweet, Tropical, Vegetable, Prickly, Woody

The 2026 list is reported by Bloxodes’ guide, updated August 30, 2026. The Grow a Garden Wiki’s 2025 event reference lists Sweet where the newer list has Stalky. The available sources establish that the lists differ, but not why; treat them as version-specific rather than assuming a confirmed one-for-one category replacement.

How Jack’s requests work

Bloxodes reports that Jack requests one plant type at a time and refreshes the request hourly. Submit harvested plants matching the active request to contribute to the shared Beanstalk meter. The guide also reports a 900-point shared growth goal and a 15-minute personal contribution cooldown. These are third-party guide claims, not independently verified official mechanics, so check the in-game event for current details.

  1. Check Jack’s active plant-type request.
  2. Harvest plants that match that type.
  3. Submit matching plants and check the request again after it refreshes.

What’s not confirmed

The sources reviewed do not establish a complete, current crop-by-crop membership table, contribution-point ranking, or exact end date for the 2026 event. Use the in-game guide to confirm whether a particular crop matches Jack’s active request, and don’t assume the event is currently running based only on an older guide.
