Rainbow Six Siege’s ranked ladder runs from Copper to Champion. You cannot place directly into Champion: Ubisoft says the rank is meant to reflect sustained high-level performance, earned through consistent results over time. KDA does not determine rank progression; winning rounds as a team does.
What are all the Rainbow Six Siege ranks?
Ubisoft’s Ranked 3.0 season page lists the ranks in this order:
- Copper
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Emerald
- Diamond
- Champion
Champion has five divisions, Champion I through Champion V. The Champion leaderboard begins at Champion I. See Ubisoft’s Ranked 3.0 season information.
How do you reach Champion?
You must climb through ranked play rather than earn Champion through placement matches. Ubisoft’s June 29, 2026 Ranked 3.0 checkpoint says players cannot place directly into Champion. Its stated aim is for Champion to represent sustained performance, not a brief early-season result. Ubisoft does not publish a current numeric Champion Rank Point cutoff or minimum match count in the sources cited here.

Play to win rounds, not to pad KDA
Ubisoft says KDA is not a factor in rank progression: the system rewards winning as a team. Eliminations can help a round, but support, intel gathering, and utility use can also contribute. Prioritize communication, coordination, executing your role, and learning maps and sites instead of chasing kills for their own sake. These are practical implications of the stated system, not guaranteed methods for gaining rank. Ubisoft’s Ranked 3.0 checkpoint
Understand the season’s placements
Ubisoft’s Ranked 3.0 season page says each season begins with five placement matches to determine a new rank, and performance in the previous season also influences the result. Placements do not grant Champion directly. In its June 2026 checkpoint, Ubisoft said it had heard that placements did not feel impactful enough and planned to give them more weight in future seasons; that was an announced plan, not confirmation that the change has since gone live. Is there a current Champion RP or match requirement?
The official sources cited here do not establish a current Ranked 3.0 Rank Point threshold or minimum number of matches for Champion. Older requirements sometimes quoted online—such as 5,000 MMR or 100 matches—belong to legacy systems and should not be treated as current Ranked 3.0 rules. Ubisoft’s 2022 Ranked 2.0 launch article described five divisions per rank and 100 Rank Points to advance each division, as well as a separation between visible Rank and hidden skill. Those are historical details, not a complete specification of Ranked 3.0. Ubisoft’s Ranked 3.0 checkpoint · Ranked 2.0 launch article

Ubisoft’s Year 11 announcement planned a Ranked overhaul for Y11S2 and a Top of the Ladder mode, with current-season Champion status among its access requirements. Because that information is a roadmap announcement, confirm the mode’s availability and live entry requirements in the game or Ubisoft’s latest updates rather than assuming the announced feature is implemented.
