The event was reported to have started on August 20, 2025; the available guides do not establish whether it is still playable in October 2026. The lists below preserve each guide’s scope rather than treating conflicting accounts as one confirmed in-game list.
What the Retro Roadtrip Star Path duties cover
Retro Roadtrip was a Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Path themed around road trips and retro style. IGN’s guide describes rewards including character Dream Styles, a fox companion, and diner and drive-in furniture. Its regular duties ask players to perform familiar activities around the valley, with each task specifying a requirement and token reward. Destructoid describes the regular-duty set as 73 duties; that is the guide’s count, not an official game statistic.
The regular duties reported by the guides span these activity types. Exact thresholds, wording and token rewards vary across the published lists, so use the relevant task shown in your game rather than assuming every guide entry is identical.
- Clear obstacles: remove Night Thorns, Splinters of Fate or Inkies.
- Mine and dig: mine minerals or gems, and dig at designated spots.
- Complete other duties: finish Dreamlight, Storybook Vale or Mist Duties.
- Craft and cook: craft items and prepare meals meeting stated star-rating requirements.
- Fish and gather: fish in named biomes; collect flowers, shells or seaweed.
- Earn or spend currency: earn Dreamlight or Star Coins, harvest crops or fruit, and sell items or produce.
- Interact with characters and systems: complete Daisy Boutique Challenges, feed critters, take a shop photo, open Memory Shards, or spend time with Joy or Sadness.
For the full regular-task list and its per-task requirements and token values, see Destructoid’s Retro Roadtrip duties guide and the IGN guide mirror. These are secondary guides, and their lists should not be treated as a single independently verified official roster.

How weekly Routine Duties worked
Routine Duties were additional weekly tasks. IGN’s guide says three were released each Wednesday at 1:00 PM UTC and remained available for the rest of the Star Path. It also describes a progression difference: Premium Star Path owners could complete any released task in any order, while non-Premium players had to complete duties in release order. Those are historical instructions from the guide, not confirmation of current game policy.
Weeks 1 and 2 in IGN’s list
The IGN mirror lists two themed sets:
- Week 1, shopping: buy from stalls, visit Scrooge McDuck’s Shop, and buy from the shop.
- Week 2, friendship: spend time with a villager, give favorite gifts, and make small talk.
The IGN page says its work on Weeks 3–5 was paused, so it does not provide those sets.

Weeks 3–5 in Destructoid’s list
Destructoid presents five weekly sets in total. Its later-week entries include DreamSnaps and photo activities, serving customers and cooking or selling meals, and Companion-related tasks. The guide’s coverage differs from IGN’s; consult its full Routine Duties list for the task wording and details it reports. The five-set structure and later tasks are Destructoid’s account, not a publisher-confirmed roster.
Why the two duty lists differ
The guides are not fully aligned in scope or presentation. Destructoid reports 73 regular duties and includes five Routine Duty weeks; the IGN mirror’s Routine Duty section shows Weeks 1–2 and says work on Weeks 3–5 was paused. Their duty wording and included activities also vary. Rather than combining these differences into a supposedly definitive list, treat each guide as its own account and rely on the in-game task display when checking a specific requirement or reward.

Is the Retro Roadtrip Star Path still available?
The guides report an August 20, 2025 start date, but neither establishes the event’s availability in October 2026. They are secondary sources, and the IGN page is served from a third-party mirror. Check the in-game Star Path screen or an official Disney Dreamlight Valley or Gameloft announcement for current availability; the historical guides alone cannot confirm it.
