Who is the strongest Umamusume?
Pocket Tactics’ October 2026 Umamusume tier list ranks Taiki Shuttle as its strongest overall choice, with both her standard form and Bubblegum☆Memories highlighted for sprint, mile, and dirt races. This is the guide’s editorial assessment, based on its testing, English-community feedback, and advice from longer-running Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese servers—not an official ranking or a universal result for every race or account.
The list covers overall performance across races, including the then-current Champions Meeting. It does not assign a single numerical score to each trainee. Use it as a broad starting point, then compare the distance, surface, and event rules that matter for the race you intend to run.

How to choose for a race or a new account
Start with the race conditions
For a head-to-head choice, first identify the distance—sprint, mile, medium, or long—and the track surface, including whether the race is on dirt. Then account for the specific event rules. The overall list is not a substitute for a ranking built for a particular course and weather setup.

Keep overall and Champions Meeting rankings separate
Pocket Tactics also publishes a separate Champions Meeting ranking. That list is event-specific: placement depends on track type, distance, and weather. Do not treat it as a permanent overall tier, and do not apply a Champions Meeting placement without naming the event and its conditions.
Weigh the trainee alongside training resources
The guide says support-card selection matters more to training outcomes than trainee choice. Training, sparks, and player decisions also influence results. As Pocket Tactics puts it, “any Umamusume can see success with the right combination of training, support cards, sparks, and of course, a passionate trainer.” A high-tier trainee can be a useful starting point, but the tier alone cannot guarantee a successful career.

What the ranking does—and does not—establish
This is a dated English-server ranking, not a definitive count of every playable trainee in the global game. The official KomoeJoy character catalog, which names Cygames, Inc. in its footer, provides franchise character context but does not establish current English-server playable availability. Regional release status and the broad franchise roster are different questions.
The guide’s placements should be revisited as the English roster, race scenarios, and event conditions change. In the meantime, use the list to identify candidates, not to skip the race-specific comparison or account-building decisions.
