Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown is a story-driven survival strategy game in which the player guides Voyager through the Delta Quadrant. The official game description highlights ship management and rebuilding, research, exploration, consequential decisions, away teams, and ship combat. Away missions use crew skills, and players choose how to approach them. Those systems create several kinds of mission-like content, but the official descriptions do not make them interchangeable categories.

How the story missions differ from ship quests and events
Do not combine the five Delta Chronicles side missions with every quest or event listed in patch notes. Official Patch 1.8 notes separately name seven added ship quests or events:

These are identified as ship quests or events, not as additional Delta Chronicles side missions. The Expansion Pass announcement also describes four premium DLCs in total; that roadmap is broader than the first DLC and does not mean all four expansions are represented by the five names above.
