The Forge’s weapons are made from mined ore, not purchased directly. You choose the ore load, its quantity and traits influence the weapon class and effects, and RNG selects the specific model. The ten classes are daggers, gauntlets, straight swords, katanas, great swords, great axes, colossal swords, maces, axes and spears. Because Roblox updates can add models or change balance, treat model counts, stats and recipes as versioned information rather than permanent guarantees.
The complete weapon-class roster
A January 11, 2026 community snapshot counted more than 59 craftable weapons across these ten classes. That total can change when new models arrive or recipes are adjusted. The class list itself is the useful starting point for choosing a build.
| Class | Combat identity | What to compare in the live game |
|---|---|---|
| Daggers | Very fast, short-range attacks; lower base damage and a six-Stud range are the defining trade-off. | Attack speed, base damage, range and model chance. |
| Gauntlets | Close-range weapons whose value depends heavily on their individual effects and speed. | Damage, attack cadence and trait combinations. |
| Straight swords | General-purpose weapons; the recipe guide describes them as versatile. | Damage, reach, speed and area effects. |
| Katanas | Balanced weapons intended to combine damage and handling. | Damage, speed and burn, explosion or bonus-damage traits. |
| Great swords | Heavier sword models with slower handling than light weapons. | Damage per hit versus attack speed and ore cost. |
| Great axes | Heavy axe class; individual models determine the best damage and trait profile. | Hit power, speed, range and required ore quantity. |
| Colossal swords | The maximum-power option in the cited guide, trading speed and material cost for very high damage. | Large ore requirement, damage, area effects and health trade-offs. |
| Maces | Heavy blunt weapons with model-specific performance. | Base damage, speed and crowd-control or elemental traits where available. |
| Axes | A lighter axe category than great axes; compare each model rather than assuming one universal profile. | Speed, reach, damage and craft chance. |
| Spears | Reach-focused weapons whose usefulness depends on the individual model. | Range, damage, speed and trait synergy. |
Named dagger models
The maintained weapon database lists these dagger entries: Dagger, Falchion Knife, Gladius Daggers, Hook, Shark’s Fangs, Cultist Dagger and Curved Dagger. Their base damage, speed and craft-chance values differ, and those numbers should be checked against the current in-game or maintained database because balance patches can alter them.
The same database organizes the remaining models under the other nine classes. A static list copied into a guide will eventually become incomplete; use the class and recipe information here to target a weapon, then verify the model and current stats before spending rare ore.

How weapon crafting works
- Finish the tutorial. Once the Forge is available, mine the ores needed for your intended weapon and traits.
- Set a weapon goal. Decide whether you want speed, reach, balanced handling, maximum single-hit damage or a specific effect such as burn or explosion.
- Load the Forge with ore. Ore quantity influences the weapon class. The composition supplies the traits associated with the selected ores, while the game’s random roll chooses the particular model.
- Account for the forge multiplier. The forging system uses ore multipliers together with the amount of ore placed in the Forge. The exact outcome is not a simple “more ore always wins” rule, so follow a recipe’s quantities rather than substituting materials casually.
- Complete the forging minigame. Your performance affects the finished item’s quality and the profit you receive. A strong ore combination can still produce a disappointing result if the minigame is handled poorly.
There is no reliable way to force one named model every time: even with the same target class and ore mix, RNG can select a different weapon. Treat published combinations as target recipes, not guarantees.
Published recipe examples
The following combinations are guide recommendations. Their listed damage and effects are snapshots, not independently tested best-in-slot results. Confirm the recipe, model roll and current balance in the live game before committing rare materials.
Rank #2
| Target | Ore combination | Listed base damage | Reported effects or trade-offs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Late-game straight sword | 4 Darkryte + 2 Magmaite | 114.40 | Area-of-effect explosion trait. |
| Magmaite katana | 5 Magmaite + 3 Eye Ore + 3 Fireite + 2 Darkryte | 86.69 | Burn, weapon-damage and explosion effects. |
| High-damage Darkryte katana | 7 Darkryte + 2 Demonite + 2 Eye Ore | 102.45 | Eye Ore adds a weapon-damage/health trade-off. |
| Mid-game straight sword | 3 Rivalite + 3 Ruby | 61.23 | Critical-chance effect. |
| Mid-game gauntlet | 3 Magmaite + 3 Fireite + 2 Rivalite + 1 Eye Ore | 83.54 | Explosion, burn and critical effects. |
| Mid-game colossal weapon | 16 Magmaite + 14 Fireite + 10 Eye Ore | 219.60 | Explosion and burn, plus a weapon-damage/health trade-off; 40 ore total. |
“Base damage” in this table is the figure reported by the recipe guide for that snapshot. It does not promise the same final performance after a different model roll, forging result or later balance update.
How to choose the best weapon for your build
Choose daggers for speed
Daggers suit players who value rapid attacks and mobility. Their six-Stud range and lower base damage make them less forgiving against enemies that punish close contact, so compare speed against the damage you can safely maintain.

Choose straight swords for flexibility
Straight swords are the safest general-purpose comparison when you do not want an extreme build. The listed mid-game Ruby/Rivalite recipe adds critical chance, while the Darkryte/Magmaite example emphasizes high damage and an area explosion.
Choose katanas for a balanced or elemental setup
Katanas occupy the middle ground between handling and power. Magmaite, Fireite and Eye Ore can produce burn, explosion and bonus-damage effects; a Darkryte-heavy mix raises the listed damage but still carries Eye Ore’s health trade-off.
Choose colossal weapons for maximum hit power
Colossal weapons demand substantially more material and attack more slowly, but the published 40-ore example has the highest listed base damage in these recipes. They are most appropriate when you can afford the ore and can manage the slower rhythm.
Compare more than the damage number
- Attack speed: faster weapons may deliver more practical damage during an opening.
- Range: reach changes how safely you can engage.
- Ore count: large recipes are harder to replace after a failed roll.
- Trait synergy: burn, explosion, critical chance and bonus damage can matter more than a small base-damage difference.
- Craft rarity: rare models may require many attempts; one community snapshot lists Excalibur at a 1/1000 craft chance.
- Your forging performance: the minigame affects quality and profit, so execution is part of the weapon’s value.
Why there is no universal “best” recipe
A recipe is only best for a particular goal, ore inventory and combat style. A high-damage colossal attempt may be poor value if you lack its 40 materials, while a faster dagger or balanced katana can produce better results for a player who needs mobility or reliable follow-up attacks. RNG also separates the ore plan from the exact model you receive.

PC Gamer reported on December 10, 2025 that the Forge’s crafting minigame “impacts quality.” That makes careful execution as important as selecting a strong ore combination.
Keeping your weapon information current
Roblox updates can add models, change stats, alter recipes or adjust craft chances. The January 11, 2026 count and Excalibur figure are community snapshots, not a dated official statistical release from the developer. Recheck the live Forge and a maintained weapon database whenever an update changes the roster or balance, and treat every numeric value above as a snapshot rather than a permanent rule.
