Yes. Amazon Luna is available in the United States, and Luna Standard is included with Amazon Prime. Prime members can stream a rotating catalog of games on supported devices; on Fire TVs in the US, they can also launch Luna games from a Games tab in the Prime Video app.
What Amazon Luna is and how it works
Luna runs games on remote Amazon Web Services servers and streams their video and audio to your device. Your controller or keyboard input travels back to the cloud, so you do not need a gaming PC or console capable of running the game locally. A stable internet connection is essential; Amazon recommends at least 10 Mbps for the best gaming experience. Amazon’s Luna page lists supported devices and service details.
What is included with Prime, and what costs extra?
Luna Standard is included with Amazon Prime, with more than 60 cloud-delivered games available to Prime members at no additional Luna charge. Amazon also offers Luna Premium for $9.99 per month. The catalog changes over time, so a game available today may not remain included indefinitely. Amazon’s current Luna page describes the membership offering.
For US customers, Amazon’s September 29, 2026 update lists Prime at $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Eligible young adults and students can get a discounted plan for $7.49 per month or $69 per year; qualifying government-assistance recipients pay $6.99 per month after the Prime Access trial. These are Prime membership prices, not Luna Premium prices, and eligibility and pricing can vary by territory and change.

Which games can you play?
Amazon’s current Luna Standard examples include Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Hogwarts Legacy, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Dispatch, Sonic Mania Plus, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. These examples are not a promise that every title will stay in the catalog.
GameNight offers local multiplayer games including Clue, Ticket to Ride, Angry Birds Flock Party, and Exploding Kittens 2. Amazon’s September 22, 2026 news index also lists Bowling Mayhem as free for Prime members and exclusive to Luna. Check Luna’s live catalog for current availability.

Where you can play Luna
Amazon lists Luna support on Fire TV Stick and Cube, Fire tablets, Windows PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, iPhones and iPads through a web app, Android phones and tablets, and select Samsung and LG smart TVs. Select Comcast Xfinity devices are also supported in the US. Device availability can depend on the specific model.
Cloud-delivered Luna games are currently available in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Availability on a particular device and availability of the cloud game service are separate questions: check Amazon’s device and country listings before relying on a specific setup.

How to play Luna through Prime Video on Fire TV
Beginning July 23, 2026, Prime members with a Fire TV in the US or UK can play Luna games inside the Prime Video app. The feature appears in a Games tab alongside Prime Video’s other content, and does not require an extra Luna charge, a game download, or a separate purchase for included titles. Amazon’s announcement describes the launch.
- Open the Prime Video app on a Fire TV in the US or UK.
- Open the Games tab and choose an available title.
- Use a compatible controller or your phone to provide game input.
This is a Fire TV feature; it does not mean Luna games can be launched from the Prime Video app on every device.

Do you need a controller?
For GameNight, a dedicated controller is optional: scan the on-screen QR code and use a compatible phone as the controller. Other Luna games need a controller or a mouse and keyboard, depending on the game and device.
Amazon lists its Luna Controller, Xbox controllers, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 controllers, and the Razer Kishi mobile controller as compatible options. The Luna Controller supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and Amazon’s Cloud Direct technology; Amazon’s cited explainer lists it at $69.99. Check the current listing for price and availability before buying, and confirm that your preferred controller works with your device.

Is Luna a good fit for you?
- Consider it if: you already pay for Prime, want to try a changing library without installing games, and have a reliable broadband connection and a supported device.
- Check the catalog first if: you want access to a particular game. The included lineup rotates, and Prime inclusion does not guarantee permanent access.
- Plan for input: GameNight can use phones, but other games require a controller or mouse and keyboard.
- Check service availability: make sure both your country and your exact device are supported before setting up.
