Yes, AMD really offered complimentary games with some Radeon RX 6000 purchases—but it was a limited-time promotion, not a permanent benefit. AMD’s 2022 Radeon Raise the Game Bundle included titles such as Saints Row and Sniper Elite 5 for eligible purchases through participating sellers. Those campaigns ended in 2022 and early 2023. Buying or owning an RX 6000 card now does not automatically entitle you to games.
What AMD’s Raise the Game offer included
AMD announced its RX 6000-series Radeon Raise the Game Bundle on May 10, 2022. The announcement named Saints Row and Sniper Elite 5, and said the bundle could vary by eligible product. A participating MSI page advertised up to three games, adding Forspoken. That does not mean every qualifying card came with all three games.
A separate late-2022 campaign offered up to two games, including The Callisto Protocol and Dead Island 2, with the exact offer tied to the product and promotion terms. These were separate campaigns, not one ongoing giveaway.

Dates and examples above come from the applicable MSI May 2022 promotion and MSI Q4 2022 promotion. They describe those campaigns, not a guarantee that the same terms applied in every country or at every retailer.

AMD also ran distinct offers for selected complete systems and laptops. For example, an earlier 2021 system offer listed Far Cry 6 and Resident Evil Village, while a 2022 laptop campaign had its own eligibility rules. Those offers should not be conflated with a standalone desktop graphics-card purchase.
Which RX 6000 cards were listed?
The broad May 2022 component terms named the Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, RX 6800, RX 6750 XT, RX 6700 XT, RX 6650 XT, RX 6600 XT, RX 6600, RX 6500 XT and RX 6400. But a model appearing in broad terms did not guarantee that every version was sold with the bundle. Product, retailer, regional availability and the exact offer determined eligibility. Desktop cards, RX 6000M laptop graphics, and complete computers were not interchangeable for promotion purposes. A laptop or system could qualify only under its own offer and terms; a similar model name alone was not proof of eligibility.

How redemption worked
For the historical component offer, the typical path was:

- Buy the eligible product from a participating retailer during its purchase window.
- Get the retailer’s coupon or token code, which might arrive by email, appear on an invoice, or follow a retailer verification step.
- Sign in to or create an AMD Rewards account and enter the token.
- Install the qualifying Radeon card in the computer used for the claim and complete AMD’s hardware verification if requested.
- Claim the available game codes and activate them through the platform or publisher specified by the offer.
The precise instructions and interface belonged to the campaign and could change. AMD’s store FAQ says codes for eligible AMD Store purchases are supplied in the shipment invoice email; a third-party retailer’s process could differ. The retailer—not simply ownership of a Radeon card—was central to obtaining a valid promotion code.

- The offer has ended. The purchase and redemption deadlines were separate. A qualifying purchase made during a campaign still needed to be redeemed before its deadline.
- The seller or exact SKU may not have qualified. Retailers could participate selectively, and promotion availability varied by product and region.
- “Up to” described a maximum, not a promise for every card. The number and selection of games could depend on the precise product.
- A used card is no guarantee of a usable code. The original owner may have redeemed it, the code may be expired, or the terms may impose other restrictions. Do not assume a used-card purchase qualifies.
- Some titles were not necessarily available immediately. A promotion could issue access to a game before its release.
If a seller advertises a bundle, ask for written confirmation of the exact eligible model, whether the code is unused, the redemption deadline and applicable region restrictions. Keep the listing and purchase documentation. In 2026, treat an old Raise the Game code as having no value unless the seller can demonstrate that it is valid and redeemable; the historical campaign deadlines have passed.

Is AMD giving RX 6000 buyers free games now?
There is no basis in these historical campaigns to describe the offer as current or universal. AMD’s Featured Games page is a catalog of games associated with Radeon products and technology, not a blanket RX 6000 giveaway. The U.S. AMD Store promotions page reported no active store promotions in the information available for this article; store status can change, and that page does not establish every retailer’s offer worldwide. Check the seller’s current written terms before counting on a game bundle.
