The official ANANTA website lists ANANTA | Gameplay Trailer at 7:20. It is a separate video from the 10:27 ANANTA | Gameplay Video, so the titles and runtimes should not be mixed up. NetEase’s September 2025 release rounded the trailer’s length to seven minutes.
What is the ANANTA Gameplay Trailer?
ANANTA’s official website describes the trailer as an invitation to Nova City: “Looking for a change of pace? Come to Nova City!” Its description presents players as a new captain of a special task force, building a team and interacting with a cast of characters.
In a September 22, 2025 release, publisher NetEase described ANANTA as a free-to-play urban open-world RPG and framed the trailer as a look at city life, exploration and combat. Those details are publisher descriptions, not confirmation that every advertised activity will appear in the finished game exactly as shown.
What gameplay does the trailer describe?
NetEase’s description emphasizes a city built around more than combat encounters. It mentions business districts and alleyways, interactive hotspots, and everyday moments such as petting cats alongside gang clashes. The publisher also describes an NPC ecosystem it calls intelligent and lifelike.

How does it differ from the other ANANTA videos?
| Video | Runtime | How to distinguish it |
|---|---|---|
| ANANTA | Gameplay Trailer | 7:20, as displayed on the official website | The video at the center of this article; NetEase called it a seven-minute trailer in its September 2025 release. |
| ANANTA | Gameplay Video | 10:27, as displayed on the official website | A separately listed video, not another name for the Gameplay Trailer. |
The official site lists both videos separately. A later Gamescom 2026 trailer also belongs to a different moment in the game’s promotion: reporting on it introduced Chongxiao as a second city alongside Nova City.

Release dates and platform listings can change, so the official site is the place to check for the latest announcement.
The available official materials do not state hardware specifications or controller requirements. A PS5 controller accessory would be optional platform gear, not an ANANTA-branded product or an announced requirement.

What later ANANTA coverage adds—and what it does not
In a September 7, 2026 TechRadar interview, producer Ash Qi discussed Chongxiao, introduced in a Gamescom 2026 trailer, as a second city with a different story and atmosphere from Nova City. Qi said Chongxiao is larger than Nova City. That is later context and should not be read as a feature shown or established by the 2025 Gameplay Trailer.
Qi also described the project’s ambition, telling TechRadar: “Our goal is to create the biggest open-world game in the free-to-play space.” That is the producer’s stated goal, not an independently measured comparison.
