What EA means by community-focused development

The development team writes, “First and most important, we are pushing forward with our Community-Focused development process.”

How to read the roadmap status labels
EA says the roadmap is a living plan that it will update. Its labels distinguish how far work has progressed, rather than making every item equally certain.

What the map plans say
EA describes map work in phases: points of interest, cover, and rotational-flow changes in the first half of the year, followed later by a competitive World’s Edge update and a major map update. The article text does not provide a detailed date for each map change. Treat the sequence as a broad plan, not a dated release calendar.
