When did the Space Hunt Event run?
EA announced Space Hunt on September 12, 2024, and scheduled the main event for September 17 through October 8, 2024. Its Store tab offers were also dated September 17–October 8. These are historical dates, not a current event schedule. EA’s official announcement does not establish that the event or its offers have returned.

How did the Knockout mode work?
Knockout was a 60-player, 20-squad Battle Royale mode centered on scoring rather than simply surviving. Squads captured zones and collected EVO to earn points. After each round, the five lowest-scoring squads were eliminated.
Infinite respawns were available before the finale. After three rounds, the final five squads were redeployed for a Sudden Death fight. These mechanics and figures were described by EA in its 2024 event announcement.

What were the Crypto and Wattson trials?
Amped Knockout Trials provided temporary free access to the featured Legend while players worked through challenges to unlock that character permanently. The two trial windows were:

What cosmetics and event rewards were available?
Milestone cosmetics and event packs
The milestone event featured 36 limited-time cosmetic items, and each item received counted toward milestone rewards. Space Hunt Event Packs contained one event item and two standard items. EA stated that those packs would not award duplicate event items.
Serpent’s Sting customization
The Mythic universal melee cosmetic Serpent’s Sting had additional customizations, including the Crimson Ripper holographic Kill Counter. Its red holographic markers counted up to five kills and reset each match. While the wielder held Kill Leader status, the cosmetic displayed a crown hologram.

Bounty Bucks and the Reward Shop
Players earned Bounty Bucks through daily event challenges and spent them in the Space Hunt Reward Shop. EA said the shop offerings rotated halfway through the event, on September 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. PT. The amount of Bounty Bucks players could earn each day was limited.

EA’s announcement also included gameplay and loot updates. They were patch-note context, not physical products or event-only rewards.

Loot Bin and Loot Tick changes
- Loot Bin resets received an announcer line. Some high-value loot rates were reduced after a reset, and items from bins opened just before a reset would drop so they were not lost.
- Legendary Loot Bins yielded fewer Gold items through Smart Loot. Mythic Loot Bins were adjusted to provide large healing items more consistently.
- Gold Bin spawn logic was changed to reduce the number of bins while distributing them more consistently.
- Loot Ticks no longer included white- and blue-rarity attachments or equipment. Gold weapon chances increased, while Phoenix Kits and hop-ups were removed from possible Loot Tick drops.
