ARC Raiders’ Cold Snap update launched on December 16, 2025, at 09:30 UTC. That was 1:30 a.m. PST in Los Angeles, 4:30 a.m. EST in New York, 9:30 a.m. GMT in London, and 10:30 a.m. CET in Central Europe. Cold Snap is a past update, not an upcoming release; Embark’s current announcement concerns Frozen Trail, scheduled for October 8, 2026.
Cold Snap release time by confirmed region
These reported times all refer to the same launch instant on December 16, 2025. PC Gamer and TechRadar reported the schedule; GamesRadar also reported the Pacific, Eastern, and Central European times.
| Location | Time zone on Dec. 16, 2025 | Local release time | Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| UTC | UTC | 09:30 | Dec. 16, 2025 |
| Los Angeles | PST | 1:30 a.m. | Dec. 16, 2025 |
| New York | EST | 4:30 a.m. | Dec. 16, 2025 |
| London | GMT | 9:30 a.m. | Dec. 16, 2025 |
| Central Europe | CET | 10:30 a.m. | Dec. 16, 2025 |
The schedule uses standard-time abbreviations because these locations were on standard time in December: PST, EST, GMT, and CET. It is not a summer-time schedule.
How to convert the launch time for another location
The published reports establish the 09:30 UTC anchor and the four conversions above, but they do not establish an authoritative schedule for every country or city. To find another location’s time, convert 09:30 UTC using that location’s time-zone rules for December 16, 2025. Use a time-zone database or calendar that supports historical dates, rather than applying today’s offset: daylight-saving rules and local dates can differ.

Was Cold Snap an upcoming ARC Raiders update?
No. Cold Snap launched in December 2025. As of October 2026, Embark’s official site promotes Frozen Trail for October 8, 2026, and the official October 2 announcement says its free-play period coincides with Frozen Trail’s launch. That announcement lists the period as October 8, 2026, at 09:00 UTC through October 12, 2026, at 08:00 UTC. See the official ARC Raiders site and its news listing for current updates.
Why this is not an exhaustive all-time-zones chart
Contemporary coverage converges on the same UTC launch instant and the listed major-region conversions. A wider city-by-city table published by Adventure Gamers has UTC-offset labels that conflict with some named zones—for example, pairing PST with a positive offset—so its conversions should not be treated as authoritative without independent verification. For locations not listed above, calculating from UTC with the correct historical zone rules is safer than relying on that table.
