Bilguun’s Hideout is the small rusted container attached to the broken wall beside Container Storage in Spaceport. Climb the wall, use the ladder, and interact with the yellow notes inside. “What We Left Behind” is a three-map quest for Tian Wen; you must also search two containers in the underground Raider Camp beneath Buried City’s Parking Garage and inspect the marked documents at Dam Battlegrounds’ South Swamp Outpost. The objectives can be completed in separate raids.
Quest requirements, maps and rewards
Accept What We Left Behind from Tian Wen after completing Dormant Barons. The quest sends you to Buried City, Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport.

Once every objective is complete, return to Tian Wen in Speranza and claim Muzzle Brake II, Stable Stock II and Vertical Grip II, as recorded by the current quest listing.
Spaceport: find Bilguun’s Hideout
The hideout is not a large building or a separate map icon. It is a small metal container fastened to a broken wall outside Container Storage.

- Deploy to Spaceport and travel to the Container Storage point of interest.
- Move to the structure’s east or southeast side.
- Find the broken section of wall with a small, rusted container attached to it.
- Climb the broken wall, then use the ladder to enter the container.
- Interact with the yellow-marked notes inside. Picking up these notes advances the objective.
The location and route are also shown in Shacknews’ walkthrough. Do not search the interior of Container Storage for a large hidden room; the objective is outside on the adjoining wall.
What “anything significant” means here
The quest record describes the Spaceport task as searching for “anything significant,” but that wording does not require a random Epic-rarity item. The specific interaction is the yellow quest notes in Bilguun’s Hideout. Checking those notes is the reliable way to progress rather than repeatedly searching for unrelated Epic loot.

Buried City: search the underground Raider Camp
- Deploy to Buried City.
- Go to the Parking Garage in the New District, between Hospital and Space Travel.
- Enter the garage and locate the secured elevator door on its lower/southeastern side.
- Breach the door.
- Use the elevator zipline to descend to the underground Raider Camp.
- Search any two containers inside the underground camp.
Containers on the garage’s upper levels do not count. You must descend through the secured elevator and loot two containers in the buried camp, as specified in the location walkthrough.

To leave, you can use the elevator zipline again; the walkthrough also describes an exit through the camp’s eastern window.

Dam Battlegrounds: inspect the South Swamp Outpost
- Deploy to Dam Battlegrounds.
- Travel to South Swamp Outpost, west of Water Treatment Control on the southern side of the map.
- Enter the outpost’s main building.
- Find the table beside a tool cabinet.
- Interact with the yellow-marked documents on the table.
Opening ordinary loot in the outpost is not enough; the marked document interaction is what completes this map objective.
Finish the quest and collect the rewards
- Confirm that all three map objectives show as complete in the quest menu.
- Extract from your current raid if necessary; progress remains when objectives were completed in different raids.
- Return to Tian Wen in Speranza.
- Turn in What We Left Behind and claim the three Tier II weapon modifications.
Troubleshooting and raid risks
The hideout is nowhere inside Container Storage
Leave the building and circle to its east/southeast exterior. Look for the broken wall and attached rusted container, then climb the wall and ladder. Bilguun’s Hideout does not appear as its own map POI.

The Parking Garage containers did not count
Those were probably on the wrong level. Breach the secured elevator door and descend to the underground Raider Camp before searching two containers.
The notes or documents did not register
Quest interactions can occasionally fail to advance, especially at Bilguun’s Hideout. Extract, start another raid and revisit the location; this is the documented workaround from Destructoid’s troubleshooting report.

Another player is already there
These objectives are difficult to identify on the map and can draw other players. The underground Raider Camp and Spaceport hideout are documented combat and PvP risk areas, so bring equipment you are prepared to lose and consider leaving after the interaction registers.
The Quests tab returns to “Done”
Live Update 1.36.0, released July 7, 2026, fixed a general menu issue in which pressing ESC after claiming a reward could return the Quests tab to the “Done” screen and prevent selecting another quest. It was not described as a change to this quest. The latest official store update available on August 8, 2026 was 1.40.0 (dated August 4); updates 1.36.0, 1.38.0, 1.39.0 and 1.40.0 do not list changes to What We Left Behind.
