In ARC Raiders, Celeste’s “Keeping the Memory” quest takes you to Wreckage in Formicai Hills on Dam Battlegrounds. Find the missing helmet in a shrub beside the large central machine wreck, then place it on the nearby memorial post. Complete all three objectives in the same round.
Where to find Wreckage on Dam Battlegrounds
Select Dam Battlegrounds and head to Wreckage in Formicai Hills, on the map’s southeastern side. The main landmark is a large machine wreck; PC Gamer describes it as covered in graffiti. PC Gamer’s Keeping the Memory guide provides the location and visual cues.
How to find and place the helmet
- At the central machine wreck, look beside its legs and nearby wires for a small shrub.
- Interact with the shrub to reveal the missing helmet, then pick it up.
- Take it to the short post nearby. Interact with the glowing blue helmet prompt to place the helmet at the memorial.
You pick up the quest helmet at the wreck site; you do not need to bring it into the raid. Celeste’s dialogue frames the memorial as a tribute: “Maybe it doesn’t look like much, but the First Wave resistance deserves to be remembered.” That line is in-game dialogue transcribed by the community-maintained ARC Raiders Wiki, not an independently verified historical statement.
Complete the objectives in one round
The quest objectives are to reach the wreckage in Formicai Hills, search for the missing helmet, and return it to the memorial. Finish the full chain in a single round. The quest reference lists the objectives; Shacknews’ guide reports the single-round requirement and notes that completing the three objectives is enough even if you are later knocked out or extract. Extraction is not a listed objective.

The memorial post is a static map object. If its placement interaction is unavailable because another raider has used it, retry in another raid, as Shacknews advises. The exact location and interaction cues here come from published guides rather than firsthand in-game testing, so details may change with an update.

“Keeping the Memory” is a Celeste quest after “Straight Record” and before “Echoes of Victory Ridge.” The ARC Raiders Wiki lists these rewards:
