Quest requirements and rewards
Celeste gives Switching the Supply after Source Of The Contamination. Its two objectives are “Find the tunnels under the Spaceport” and “Find and turn the valve in the tunnels under Spaceport,” both marked “IN ONE ROUND.”
Celeste explains the goal: “There is a reservoir beneath the Spaceport; if we manage to route that water here, that should buy us time to deal with the contamination.”

How to find and turn the valve
- Select Spaceport and head for the Launch Towers. The towers are in the central area of the map.
- Enter the tunnels through the ground collapse in front of the towers. This is the closest documented approach, though the tunnel network has multiple entrances. The guides vary slightly on the approach direction, so use the towers and collapsed ground as landmarks rather than relying on a compass bearing.
- Find the red valve near the entrance. At the bottom, look behind the northeastern section of collapsed concrete. The valve is mounted on a pipe against the right-hand wall; the yellow pipe is another useful visual landmark.
- Interact with the valve. The quest completes when you turn it. There is no quest item to carry out, but both objectives need to be completed in the same round.
If you enter the tunnels elsewhere
You can reach the tunnel network through other entrances. If you do, use the cave-in or midpoint landmark to orient yourself, then look for the red valve by the right wall and collapsed concrete. The front-of-Launch-Towers collapse is the closest documented route to the objective, but the available guides do not establish verified travel times or comparative risk for each entrance.

What to watch for on the route
The central Spaceport area is active, with ARC and other raiders present. Stay alert on the short approach to the tunnels; no route or raid timing is established as reliably safe. Since the quest is completed by turning the valve, focus on reaching and interacting with it rather than searching for an extraction item.

Route details are cross-checked against GameSpot (November 9, 2025), All Things How (updated November 2, 2025), and Shacknews (April 7, 2026). These are secondary guides; map geometry or objectives could change in a game update.
