The park is an area in Valley IV. Reaching the region is tied to main-story progress, not to buying an unlock or finding a standalone access item. Game8’s area guide places it in Valley IV.
How to reach the area
- Continue the main story through Chapter I, Process III. The route is described in guides using milestones including “The Mission Continues” and “Cross the Science Park.” NerdsChalk’s progression guide gives that sequence.
- Open the in-game mission list and follow its active main-story waypoint. Mission labels differ across guides: GameWith names “Beyond the Research Park” as the condition for unlocking the map, while Game8 has a Chapter 1, Process 3 mission called “Cross the Science Park.” Treat those as guide-specific labels rather than assuming they are identical or appear the same in every localization. GameWith’s map guide and Game8’s mission walkthrough provide those respective names.
- Complete the route objectives as they appear in your mission. Game8’s walkthrough describes going to the park, following the road, checking Tata’s features, destroying a Blight Core, and continuing onward. Exact wording or objectives may vary by build or localization; use the in-game tracker as the authority.
Why part of the park may still be blocked
Entering the region does not necessarily open every interior section. Some access depends on further story progress, clearing Blight, or completing side and exploration missions. If a route remains sealed, check the nearby map marker and mission tracker for a Blight obstacle or an outstanding objective instead of repeating the area-entry steps. NerdsChalk notes that some sections remain gated by Blight.
Infra-Station is a separate objective
The Infra-Station outpost is a local progression opportunity, not the condition for first reaching Originium Science Park. Activating or completing it has its own exploration requirements. For full exploration, PowerPyx lists Main Mission 18, “Down The Hill,” the side missions “Explosive Rescue,” “Dusty Old Files,” and “Illusion,” and the Exploration Mission “OD Outpost: Infra-Station II.” Its checklist also gives Infra-Station prosperity level 2 as a condition for the Control Center location.
