Why do Steam and Ubisoft show different release dates?
Steam’s listing gives March 19, 2025, while Ubisoft’s US store gives March 20. Those dates are compatible: a March 19 evening unlock in parts of North America falls on March 20 in other time zones and in UTC. Always pair a historical unlock time with its location, time zone, and storefront rather than relying on the date alone.

Yes, Steam players need a Ubisoft account linked to their Steam account. Ubisoft Connect Team says Steam’s installation includes a lite embedded Ubisoft Connect component, so launching through Steam does not require separately installing the Ubisoft Connect Launcher.
