Its Collector’s Edition bundles the game and digital extras with a statue, SteelBook, art book and other physical collectibles. Ubisoft describes the edition as limited quantity at participating retailers; check local listings for current stock and verify the exact platform SKU and any included digital codes before buying.
When did Assassin’s Creed Shadows release?
Assassin’s Creed Shadows released on March 20, 2025. Ubisoft’s official update first announced a delay to February 14, 2025, then added a January 9, 2025 note revising the date again to March 20. Ubisoft’s US game page now lists the game as available. Check Ubisoft’s game page for current availability information.
What is in the Collector’s Edition?
Ubisoft’s US Collector’s Edition listing describes a package combining the game, in-game content and physical collectibles. The physical contents listed are:
- Naoe and Yasuke dual-character statue, specified by Ubisoft as a 40 cm diorama
- SteelBook case
- 76-page collector’s art book
- Life-sized Naoe katana tsuba
- World map
- Creed wall scroll
- Two sumi-e lithographs
The listing also includes the base game and a pre-order bonus package, along with the Sekiryu Dual Pack: gear and weapons for Naoe and Yasuke, the Sekiryu Beast, Dragon Tooth trinket, Sekiryu Hideout Pack ornaments, and five mastery points. These dimensions and page count are Ubisoft product specifications, not independent measurements. See Ubisoft’s Collector’s Edition listing for its current product description.

Does the game copy come on a disc?
Ubisoft’s Collector’s Edition page describes the included Ultimate Edition copy as two discs for Xbox, one disc for PS5, and a digital download with no disc for PC. Treat this as the format stated for the copy described on that page: retailer SKUs and regional packages may differ. Check the exact platform and edition details in the listing before ordering.
Can you still buy the Collector’s Edition?
Ubisoft says the Collector’s Edition is available through participating retailers in limited quantities and advises customers to check local retailer availability. That notice does not establish live stock, price, or availability in any particular country. Check retailers in your region for current inventory and compare the full price, including shipping and taxes.

- The Assassin's Creed Shadows - Collector's Edition contains: the main game, additional digital content (dual package Sekiryuu, hiding pack Sekiryuu, 5 Knowledge Points), a double character statue of Naoe and Yasuke (approx. 40 cm), a steelbook case, collector's artbook, Naoes Katana tsuba (in original size), a world map, a credo kakemono (70 x 30 cm) and two Sumi-e lithographs (13.5 x 19 cm)
When comparing listings, confirm the platform and exact SKU, the physical contents, disc or download format, condition and seal status, region compatibility, seller reliability, and whether digital codes are included and unused. A used or old-stock box may not have usable codes; the packaging alone does not establish an individual code’s status.
How do the Collector’s Edition digital codes work?
Ubisoft says redeeming digital content requires a Ubisoft account and an internet connection. Its listing also says content may later be sold separately or offered as a giveaway at Ubisoft’s discretion.

Ubisoft Support, updated June 8, 2026, says retail pre-order codes for “Thrown to the Dogs” and Claws of Awaji are available from retailers while supplies last, and each code can be redeemed only once. For Ubisoft’s wording on the Collector’s Edition pre-order bonus, see Ubisoft Help for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Ask a seller whether any advertised code is present and unused; only the code’s single-use limit is established, not the status of a particular copy.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Are the guidebook and PureArts collectibles included?
No. Ubisoft identifies Piggyback’s Complete Official Guide as a companion book, but it is not listed among the Collector’s Edition contents; treat it as a separate purchase. Ubisoft also announced a separate PureArts Shadows collectible line in a May 14, 2025 article, including a 1:1-scale wearable, functional Naoe Hidden Blade replica. That merchandise is not a Collector’s Edition inclusion. Check the relevant seller for current availability.
